I associate "TFC away to Cincinnati" with a 5-0 scoreline.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Hagglund has been injured
Their defence is stingy but can be beaten - their offence finds a way to score 1 more goal. They are a team driven to work within the games states provided and do it efficiently - give them a chance, they will take it and if you don't take your chances, you will lose.
This has the look of a 3-1 loss to me - they are winning 1-0 at the half where we had chances but did not score. They run away with 2 more before 70 & we score 1 in the 80's.

Predicting a draw. All we do is Tie. At least in this miserable season, maybe we can set the Draws record
4-0 Cincy if Hedges and Johnson are out.
2-0 Cincy if only Johnson is out
Or...maybe 1-0 if Bob bunker us with five back. Given how quick they are on the break and how quickly they switch high to wingers, I suspect that might happen.
The US' first game isn't until June 24, so maybe we still have him for this one, but I suspect not, due to camp. So this might be either Gavran or Ranjitsingh.
Hedges might be back.
Cincinnati is defensively strong down the middle. We're not going to be given much, and without any sort of tangible offense consistently in our opponent's end, we will once again be relying on magic from Insigne to get anything.
I keep expecting us to get squashed one of these games but it hasn't happened yet. Top team in the east, brand new striker, home fans will be plenty hyped for that. 2nd backup keeper likely to make an appearance, no Osorio. Has to be the time our luck runs out, no?
But this is MLS and none of the gaps should be that large, particularly with our payroll. Also hearing our new Korean-Dutch signing, Park deBus will be making an apperance.
can't wait to spin the wheel of "bullshit reasons we concede a goal to lose/tie" this time
Minus the Philly debacle we've managed to anti-football most of our matches. I don't mean the old Rangers style either. I mean we just make both teams play ugly and force a boring, terrible match on viewers both home & away.
With that in mind I think we lose but it'll be a 2-1 loss or something like that.
Going to get thumped without Johnson. A draw at best if Hedges returns.
This one has a big and glorious DRAW written all over it!
(How can all of you guys not seeing it?)
Ironic, a bit sad, isn't it? If TFC were a decent performing club, the next series of matches, is when I would have been suggesting draws to be the de facto fair outcome.
Another very thin bench and no subs match. Maybe better to watch the first half only….
You’d think with the growth of the game MLS would be getting closer to respecting the international schedule.
But I guess the Vancouver’s and FCD’s of the world need an extra date or two in the summer so they can sell 3 tickets for $15 with a free hot dog and drink.
Totally fair when you think about it. If you aren’t going to invest in a SSS, in players, or into any of the other things that are supposed to make the league top class well you should either get the boot or have to play down a division when the inevitable happens.
Although maybe we shouldn’t be supporting this argument as TFC fans, haha
Yeah, I forgot about Laryea being out too.
I would have replied with Laryea in, that for our 2 Italian DP's it's enough 1-1 moment of briliance (and for the rest of the match to be mediocre) to end 2-2, but the whole match those 2 will be on an island in the middle of the Pacific.
That would be nice, but I'm still afraid will not happen, at least not in the next 20 years.
It makes one think... that if from the moment TFC joined MLS would have been that kind of setup, at least 3/4 of the time TFC would have played in the Championship.
Which would have been great, because MLSE might have sold the team (why stick to a team if we would have long-time average 15 k spectators), and maybe TFC could have had by now a serious football-oriented ownership.
