I’m borderline thinking he should start over Rosted. Makes mistakes for sure but no more than his competition. And he has a lot more strong individual plays.

His technical ability is not great, but there is an MLS version of Per Mertesacker in there.

Kerr has played great. Really taking the chance. He's making Santos' life hell with the speed.

TFC scores again - this is just hilarious....I just can’t with this team - I bet against them, and I want to quit them, and then here we go again with a game that makes me care for another few days until Wednesday…..you’d think after living through 2007-2013 I’d learn….

That's a big win. Not sure we were great tonight, but we scraped and clawed for that. The next two games are massive.

Will any of us be the least upset if this turns out to be a cathartic week that keeps them all employed and we start winning games?

I hope not. We need them to do this again a few times before I get all gushy, but that felt pretty good.

So I have a confession to make, I couldn’t handle the AppleTV commentary team so I voluntarily listened to Gareth Wheeler.

And now that we have won I will listen to Gareth Wheeler and only Gareth Wheeler until we lose.

That 2nd goal was all him. Starts the play in out half with a great outlet pass, sprints up field to get the return then lays it on a plate for Thompson.

The boys finally showed some heart tonight. Especially Insigne.

Let's see if they can maintain that intensity moving forward.

Take the positives when we can get them. D.C. mostly sucked, but this certainly didn't look like mutiny. The effort was impressive. Insigne showed great commitment getting up and down the flank.

Kerr's looking like solid cheap depth at the very least and Franklin could be that cheap fullback that can enable a team to spend elsewhere. Hopefully TFC can take a mulligan on Petretta somehow.

This was a good reality check for Berna too. Dare I say he might have to wait a bit longer to get back into the starting XI? Either way, it'll be interesting to see how he responds.
