Basically, they said he has no first step anymore and teams are peppering TFC with shots outside the box because MB cannot fill the gaps fast enough. Sure he can run straight lines and cover distance but that’s not the issue.
They literally ran like 3 minutes of tape of guys peeling off him and blowing by him in game this year. It was pretty damning. Also takes about him being the coaches son and the youth players we sent out who played his position.
They soft peddled the message at the end saying maybe he should rotate more rather than play every minute but it was about as direct criticism I’ve seen them ever go at any player.
