Yeah I think that's a bit of a mistake. I would be more likely to watch games going on through the day rather than going back and watching a game that's been recorded. Not to mention the issues with the scores being visible to some people..

But yeah this time of year in this climate who decided on this start time and why wasn't there any pushback

For example, it is cool out right now. But would be perfectly acceptable watching the game with the Sun occasionally out and 2-3 degrees.

For now, I choose to blame MLS/Apple for insisting the match in Toronto be at a typically less than optimal temperature time of 7:30pm in March; the weather at this stage of year is the challenge. I do not understand the rationale; the inflexibility. I get the benefits of anytime, anywhere streaming. Still, just who are the worldwide priority 'live' stream target audiences/subscribers for the service? Which regions are they situated in? For instance, if Messi joins IMCF, are MLS/Apple going to feature him 'live' back to Europe in the middle of their nights? I get the mandate and the scope of this task is daunting. If Europe is one of the main reaches, then wouldn't a compromise, some occasional match starts from early to mid afternoon, be more practical to help build the brand? IIUC, just for NA, CA and SA, east to west, there may be 6 time zones; 6 hours difference may be involved. Moreover, any east coast MLS matches streamed to most of Europe may involve at least 7 time zones; 7 hours difference? At some point, some tweaking, marketing prioritizations, are going to have to happen for domestic or overseas 'live streaming' consumption.

And every Saturday evening game is also positioned against the NHL/The Leafs.

We can Root for and support TFC and MLS all we want, but have to be realistic
Toronto, Ontario and Canada is NHL/Leafs territory

All northern based teams should realistically play their first 4 or 5 games out west or down south if MLS wants to insist on late February as the start of the regular season.

    This.

I'm hopeful this is just a case of working out the bugs. I have no issue with a prime time set of games each week at 7:30 but most teams most weeks? Do little kids not get to go to football matches anymore? Is it strictly for the alcohol driven crowd? I see it as a pretty big negative for football culture at a growth level. But again I hope it's just early days and that changes are made.

Field looks better than I thought it would be.

Wind out of the north - it's notable.

    No drafts (lines would freeze)

    And, finally, free WiFi.

    Cold... Yup

We have no striker, that's just embarrassing.

Not even two games into the season and the strikers we are supposed to rely on are injured.

Diomande is a bottom of the barrel signing, and Ayo is a washed up athlete already.

I'd personally have Bernie as a false 9 and Kerr on the right.

Yeah. I mean hindsight is always 20/20 but it seems a bit speculative to make your top two strikers guys who have injury issues

Will be interesting to see how the front 3 line up. I'm assuming it's a front three because I don't know if a 4-4-2 will work here like it did in Atlanta

    L-to-R Oso-Kerr-Bern?

Yknow I can see them trading ONeill for a cheaper and younger CB. The incoming guy would still have to be somewhere between ONeill and MacNaughton quality but CB is one of the few positions where we have depth and flexibility

I can't watch this live, but it's so nice now that I can just watch the replay later.

    Speaking of false nines...

Have to figure Kerr plays a little deep, tries to feed Bernie and
    Oso.

Who’s the depth other than O’Neill and McNaughton?

Never even noticed O'Neill missing. Trading him for another striker could be a move.
