Based on how closely Hernandez's plan/vision for the club seems to mirror what most people here have been saying for five years, you're not wrong, frankly. So much so that I'm a little suspicious I'm getting handed a line.

He had crazy youth numbers and was an u19 Germany international but he's done zip at the professional level. Really does look like a hold-up/defensive forward.

I can't find any video. The two on youtube are different guys trading off the name who are both still youth players. There is a video of him from a decade ago as a kid, but nothing recent, as far as I can see.
It seems to be a cheap deal. No mention of GAM being used. If he can be as a Tosaint Ricketts like back up at striker, I would consider this a win.
They signed him to 1 year contract only so its definitely a trial basis. No real risk.

You can't really compare any deal to the Diomande one though. Only an absolute moron would ever give out a deal like that to a player with his recent record and known issues.
