Vaquez is already a domestic - was last year at LAG.
Hey can we get a Neymar to TFC rumour going here? I mean, who says no?
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Neymar's drop off as a player is going to be worse than Ronaldinhos, in terms of pure dribbling and technique he is the only player to ever match Ronaldinho.
Shame how some of the brightest Brazilian players fizzle out so fast, I guess Samba football is double edged like that, you can make them professional, but you can't ever take the Samba out of them.
I love it, though. In a world of media trained, personalityless robots, give me a Neymar or a Ronaldinho any day of the week. I'd take a flawed genius every time, the game is so much more interesting with them and they're a dying breed as the standard of play gets too high to be effective while bathing in champagne 7 nights a week and honestly, that's a shame.
Not according to the MLS roster page: https://www.torontofc.ca/roster/
He is listed as International
Gutierrez is definitely just a typo on the website (we've seen errors on that before). He was born in Canada and gets Canada call-ups. Owusu isn't listed as an International on the website, which he definitely is (which is why Diomande had to get placed on the Season Ending Injury List on the same day he signed in order to open up the international slot for his signing)
These are our current internationals. Ibarra has a Green card

neymar wouldn't come here (MLS) to compete and win.
sure he'd be fun to watch the times he decides to show up. feel like they'd be few are far between.
Oh, I remember how good he was when younger at Betis. A lot of people were calling him the potential greatest ever, even though he was never much of a goalscorer.
By the time he got to MLS he reminded me of how Bernardeschi is now, with the top gear not quite quick enough. So he'd beat one guy, try to pull some dipsy-doodle shit on two more and get stripped.
EDIT: In checking Betis, because my memory is becoming swiss cheese, I noticed he went to Saudi first, before MLS. Kiss of death, that league. Training standards are notoriously shit. I'm not sure the recent buying spree will have changed that.

Dimarzio reporting, very credible.
If 4 mill net salary is accurate this is gonna get done.
Imagine if we get a transfer fee for him.
Two year offer only. But Fede has 4 years on his TFC deal.
I can’t see Fede doing this without TFC paying him something meaningful for those last two years.

I think this gets through. He can be there for a year then either ask for a transfer or leave after 2025
And it’s 4 million, net. Depending on his tax incidence here I would almost assume they are paying him more.
This is also and may be his best chance out of here. If he doesnt really consider this, then I dont know!
Fair but dimarzio is the gold standard.
He has 3.5 years left here, making net 2.9 M after tax (usd). Total remaining is: 9.86 M usd, 9 mill euro.
So 4 mill euro net over 2 years only 1 mill less, and marketing opportunities for a player over there significantly more as those fans are fanatical.
This is assuming he makes the same every year. Could easily see last couple years of deal here being lower.
Did we actually ink him for 5 years? I mean, add that to the list of stupid things Manning has done. That’s simply too long a commitment.
