Nah, that "our owner is bad" discussion has been going on with the Rapids for years. This looks remarkably like our 2013 round of talks - stadium upgrade to cover for idiotic management.

Naw... Perspective OtD, perspective; it's the hope that kills. TFC was only on the performance merry-go round for about 7 years before that collective realization. The Rapids have been on their facilities and performances roller-coaster ride for around 28 years; obviously their SG's on the ropes, not yet beaten into submission. TFC is only four years removed from a Championship appearance, the Rapids haven't been to the show since 2010; 13 years or 2 more TFC life-times.

God EA is a shitburger of a company.

Diomande has never played a competitive game for us, and there's no Coello.

And the fact that Vancouver’s stadium has been in the game since their first season and BMO still isn’t annoys me.

    From the Scottish Sun:

"Earlier this year, Gauld admitted he could follow ex-
Rangers star Scott Arfield's lead and instead play for Canada."

Ahem. Yes, please. A wholly underrated player.

That would be transformative for Canada if it happened. The type of player we are lacking right now in our program that would allow us to get miles more out of all our other attacking talent.

If this happened and the rules somehow bent to get Tomori (sounds like it’s not possible based on the latest interpretation), we’d be in incredible shape.

Tomori's got a senior cap already so I don't think there is a chance at all.

There was some chatter on Twitter recently the rule has been changed to 4 games from 3 so maybe that makes him eligible again. But… suspect you’re right, it’s still not happening and probably not a possibility.

Well lets hope the clown Southgate keeps playing Maguire at center back, his mums on the case now too so he is locked in for next Euros.

Crazy how this guy cant even get a sniff, Tomori is world class and would start for pretty much any national team.

The rule hasn't changed. It's been the 4th game that makes you ineligible. You're allowed 3, as long as any non-friendlies happened before 21. Tomori got capped in an official match after 21,so he's not eligible even if they changed the number to 10 because the one official match after he turned 21 trumps it all.

Brandon Aubrey's inability to make our roster continues to the only TFC good news story of the year. 5 for 5 against the jets, including the 55-yarder above, with plenty of room to spare.

Tyler Miller out for the season with shoulder surgery, leaving DC's playoff run on the shoulders of Alex Bono.

Watch Wednesday night's highlights. Most of the stadiums are half empty.

Americans don't go to Wednesday night football.

I know it will never happen but part of me wishes that with all the travel involved in this league and lack of roster depth they’d recognize you can’t run the same number of games that are played are right now. Cut it back, keep the players healthier and improve the product on the field. I’d rather watch less games but have it played at a higher level.

Some of the fixtures we end up watching over the course of a year are ridiculous, so many of the first choice guys are off and others inured that it looks nothing like it should.

    Anyway, I know I’m dreaming.

MLS is becoming way too international for this deceptive corporate soft-pedal bullshit.

I really think they must be looking at the Super League failing, at Saudi, and thinking "as franchises that can't be relegated we can BE the super league". But it's such a shitshow mishmash of American corporate culture, it would probably take them 20 years to figure out how to do it.

It's extremely short-term thinking. They'll have to massively drop prices in a few years.

You know somewhere deep in the MLSE boardroom there's a fat cat putting his cigar down beside his aged wiskey and asking why TFC pricing isn't as high or higher than what Miami is charging.

For sure. Some are reporting other teams have increased their prices a significant amount.

I suspect MLSE was watching to see if there was even a little little uptick in membership information requests the weeks after Messi came - and saw none. These guys are somewhat unaware - but they know product sells things.
