Maybe convincing him his future is as a midfield general is the way to save him from descending into uselessness.
Wherever it is he needs to move from that right wing.

But our mid is getting crowded.

Ibarra, Blessing, Servania, Osorio, Coello, Thompson, JMR..?

Maybe 4-2-3-1 with Ibarro and Berna as back 2?

Perhaps with a coach from Brazil, where the Bernardeschis of this world are a dime a dozen, Fede will smarten up.

Let’s be honest, outside of Ibarra nobody has really covered themselves in glory. A spot is there to be taken, realistically.

Totally. Servania or Blessing could probably slot in as right back too.

Agreed. I don’t hate Franklin but I think I would prefer to see him as an occasional starter and have incentive to improve rather than an every game first choice.

IMO, perhaps 'of the moment/du jour', still 'engagements' as an interesting comparative metric...

Not surprised. Not a fan. However, IMO, she doesn't always ( fully ) walk back her statements through her apologies and/or corrections. This one seems to be a very clear, in the middle of the night, mea culpa. I suppose we will find out shortly if the clarification was justified or her accusation was reasoned though not sourced.

It took them awhile to mention it, but the team put out a nice piece yesterday about Ashtone retiring.

Fox and the Saudi’s with Ronaldo et al. trying to give Apple and the MLS some viewership competition in North America; disrupt their Messi experience. Televised football makes for strange bedfellows…

I am a believer in context; it does matter and makes a difference. So, despite searching for the image and not finding it at that time of the previous discussion, I seem to have now come across it by happenstance following another story. Believe it to be legitimate. Therefore, IMO and for the record, the decision to dismiss immediately was absolutely correct. This is not a debatable instance of a Chef's Kiss OK with a smile by your face instead of a thumbs up. In it's context, it unmistakably is a throw, gang sign style, below the waist, upside down white supremacist OK!

That column contains perhaps the single stupidest thing Matt Doyle has ever said, in a long history of skirting such territory:

Regarding Noel Buck, he finishes with "And please, dear God, don't go to the Championship."

Yes, God forbid he go to a better league, with more talent, in which learning to read the game at speed is essential due to tactical and positional discipline, the learning of which would prepare him to play in a top league.

Jesus Christ. And that's their expert.

Multiple interviews today with Euro players talking about wanting to go to MLS because of Messi. It feels a lot like 'oh great, we can get paid there now', timing wise, but the allure of the US audience is enticing a lot of them.

TFC II loans a player to the CPL. That's a good sign, that we're loaning out for more game experience a level below the first team.

Hmmm, seems this deal went sideways; Covid crisis? Guess it happens. Still, would be MLS 'seller' clubs and their players beware!

Not really MLS related, but relevant football news.

Referee corruption confirmed at the highest level, on the record, straight from the horses mouth.

Mike Dean admits he failed to intervene on Var decision to protect his ‘mate’ Anthony Taylor
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ree-tottenham/

For those wondering about original source, it's in a interview with Simon Jordan.

Surprised the PGMOL have not asked the video to be removed.

So if EPL referees are now on record proven crooks, then don't wonder why MLS officiating is as trash and worse because there is massive corruption.
