To be fair, I think it is that any expectations being set up is bad from a youth kit.
That being said, it truly does not inspire any confidence.

I'm agog that a professional designer was given money for this. I'm less surprised that a bunch of corporate weaklings stood around with their hands in the pockets nodding while this monstrosity was unveiled internally.
Jesus H Christ, that is ugly. We now have one of the single ugliest football kits I've ever seen. Cherry red, with grey, and black, and thin red lines and big black hoops.

Youth kits don't have the star
it's a youth kit which are often missing details and kinda out of whack in terms of proportions
lmao I was one of the defenders of the other kits, the 21/22 home at least had some solid stuff you'd wear under a dress shirt and vibe with as a casual fan and looked good enough on top of hoodies, and I maintain the half-n-half is an underrated kit due straight up to the wearability outside of hardcore soccer fan circles.
This? THIS??? Like, the red's gonna peek out of the onyx when you try to wear shit on top of it, so it's just gonna clash, and as a kit it's just so thin. Other kits were at least cohesive, this...
The best part about this kit is it gives me a reason not to waste 100 bucks buying it. Same for the white/grey kit. I also wasn't a fan of the 21/22 red one, so I haven't spent money on new kits in a couple years.
THESE ARE HORRIBLE. Worst I’ve seen in all of TFCs history of kits.
Just bring back red socks and a simple red jersey

I actually kind of like it. Very different and unique.
I was planning to get the new kit this year after missing so many home games ghe last few years and not getting one. Think I’ll have to stick to my old Giovinco kit.
