Ok.... more coming?

In his height with FC Basel, he seemed to be a mainstay in their lineup before a ligament injury early in '22 derailed his entire career. It honestly looks like a similar story coming through to this year, half of the time he spent in Kasimpasa was spent either on the bench or injured.
sounds like this guy is pretty mobile and has recovery pace and a decent cross. could be a better fit for the team than criscito tbh
now a CB and GK pls.
Of course he's Italian.
Look at his last year though - Missed 3 months with a ligament injury and seems to have been on the bench in a lot of play in recent years. I'd be cautiously optimistic on him, after all, he IS a left back and he does have that pedigree, but only if he can stay on the field.
Know zero about the player. Complete benefit of the doubt, but promising signing in position of need.
he's young, pretty quick by all accounts and has decent pedigree.
now SJ and rosted please.
Looks like a measured gamble that his knee is healthy. We have two young players behind him who can play left back but probably aren't ready. But they may be perfect backup if he strains it and misses a few weeks.
If the knee goes then, yeah, it's going to look like a terrible gamble. But those ACL surgeries are pretty corrective these days.
I just knew Raoul Petretta was coming. It was so obvious... Said no one ever.
A German guy though, finally!
Works for me. Lets round it out with a GK, CB, and midfielder
Buffery report says club looking for GK, CB and midfield.
Notably absent is depth on the wing which we have none of and at striker which suggests one of JJ/Ayo being moved.
To be fair, he came back from his ligament injury in May 2022 and then has had "unknown" injury times since then. His one goal this season showed he can run.
I have a feeling that he wasn't a fan of Turkey and was pretty unengaged, but that's just speculation. Hopefully living in Toronto makes a difference.
so with petretta signed and rosted/ SJ looking likely, i'd imagine the DP spot will be on a forward and the u22 initiative players will be midfield depth.
Hmmm...
Translation... 'Alan Soņora has everything arranged with an MLS club'.

That's more of the signing I want to see, a young guy with some good pedigree.
Hopefully the injury is behind him and can do a job.
So we still need a CB and GK at the very least. With the last DP slot we should use it on a CM to replace Bradley, it has to be done already.
They kept that one quiet.
Two questions I have
How did they find out he was available?
&
How do they know he is what BB describes in terms of style of play?
You are probably right; too much of God's own medicine for me. Still... there is.... the family connect to BM, the player's want to leave behind or avoid Independiente/Argentina, therefore CFM unlikely with Losada as their Mister now and the desire to play USMNT with the opportunity to have BB and MB as his mentors and concilliaries. BTW... IIUC his wage at his former club was only USD375K!? Yes, you advocating devil, not another depth 8 or 10 which he is... ffs find and recommend us a 6!
