Well, we lost 3-0 to the Whitecaps.
I know it's preseason, but it alarms me that we can't score goals with our best XI. Reminds me of late 2022.

It was 0 0 at ht and we missed a pen, their reserves beat our reserves.
Which just shows the need for depth.

If I was O'Neill and/or MacNaughton, I would not have appreciated the position they found themselves in with that second half line-up; maybe undeserving? Did any of the Ghanaians even play? How did Priso's brother perform?

Maybe Michael Singh has misspoken/mistyped? Maybe I am interpreting, reading into it incorrectly? Is it being suggested that Deandre Kerr is out until 'next' season; that is the Y24 season and not (the beginning of) 'this'/Y23 season?

only 3 mins of highlights here but looks like we should have been up by quite a few at half (when the starters played), a lot of missed chances here.

Absolutely no reason to be concerned or make excuses. It is game one of a two week preseason. If Vancouver scores 3, it really doesn't matter. If TFC scored 3, it really doesn't matter.

i remember leeds absolutely worst pre season in the past decade (results wise) was the first one under bielsa, only wins were against amateur teams and got beat by league one sides.
first game of the season proper the team turned up and ran stoke off the park, and only lost once in the first 12 games.
they mean nothing, just want guys to get reps and stuff.
Also this is Van’s third proper match of the preseason….
I just hope there's nothing really wrong with Oso.
The depth is really bad. Laughably bad. They need at least one full back.
The XI looks great sure, but I’d put the over/under on the # of games that group starts together at 9.5. You need depth. 5 subs especially you need depth. It’ll be a train wreck if the fullbacks/an Italian or a midfielder goes down.
I don't know, I look at the depth charts MLS put out this week for teams and there are worse - we seem to be about average.

Yep, depth in mls is mostly non existent.
We forget that our 2017 treble winning side had jay Chapman, Jordan Hamilton etc as depth..
That being said we do need a couple more players in midfield.
But I think we'll get them

It's pretty normal to get well under valuation when a player is in their final contract year.
