Maybe MLSE should seriously consider buying a team(s) in Europe and use TFC as a feeder to Europe and vice versa. Now we have one more player to fill. We need so many players, just buy a team.
EDIT - Would allow Manning to deflect for another two years (only said half joking)

IMHO, won't happen as/with 'MLSE' in any short term.
Certainly not until the status of Toronto as an NFL city is settled.
Likely within the next two expansion cycles of 4 teams; so 8 to 40 by 2030.
Also, depending on another series of circumstances, if/should the Blue Jays join the fold.

LAFC re-signs Latif Blessing. So that's out.
They declined Cristian Tello, trying to get him cheaper. Obviously a good player at this level but couldn't get a start there.
Hollingshead is negotiating with them as a free agent.
NYFC confirms Callens and Johnson are both out of contract at the end of December and free to sign with whomever they'd like.
They haven't tendered contracts to either, it sounds like.
Am I naive for thinking we should sign Pantemis? By no means do I think he’s a starter but absent a strong young prospect, I think it’s good to put a floor under your keeper position so if we can’t find the right player this off-season at least we have something to last us through summer.
His existing salary of $150k a year would make it a pretty low-risk deal.
I agree with this. He had mixed numbers last year but was a lot better than Breza and his save percentage was only a point off Sean Johnson's, with a lousier defense ahead of him.
He's a competitive backup, ideal. The starter has to worry he might blossom or take his job if he fucks the dog.

Sounds like it's gonna be a busy week

Criscito retires officially.
Criscito & Cesar & Frings & Koevermans
We have had some decent rental type players over the years, when you think about it.
God I hope they have guys lined up already.
6-7 new starters plus filling the bench? All before Feb?
They’re putting pressure on themselves to deliver big time here.
We need at least 3 players in free agency imo.
I will keep repeating it, even though I know they won't bring him back. Auro should be returning.
We never heard anything bad about him, until just before his loan. I almost feel like they asked him to be buddies with Soteldo, then the Soteldo thing went poorly, and then they shipped him out because of Soteldo. He always seemed to be a great teammate and on good terms with everyone. If he was a poor teammate/not committed it wouldn't have taken 4 years to figure that out and his 2022 option shouldn't/wouldn't have been picked up last December, but it was. And then they shipped him out after they picked it up. There's definitely something more to it. Something must've happened at the first training camp last year (which he was at - he wasn't at the second one). I want him back, but I know he won't be back.

Would be nice to get some news on someone incoming instead of leaving.

Hot take:
It wouldn't surprise me if MLSE made an offer for Ronaldo.
Not saying it would happen, but I can see them at least making an offer. Remember he is friends with Fede.
