Default Would you Rather We Beat Philly & Montreal Wins the East or....

    It comes down to this

Montreal beats Miami & we are tied against Philly with a few extra more minutes of extra time to play.

Are you hoping we win or tie - even if that means Montreal wins the East Season Crown & Gets home field advantage (tiebreaker is wins)?

    or

Are you hoping we lose cause nobody wants Montreal to succeed ever?

It would have been harder the the way around, ie if losing to Philly helped Montreal.

CMNT fans want Montreal to play as many playoff games as possible.

I like the spirit OG but how about one more option to vote for, I dont care about the Montreal or Philly situation because they both suck. So add option 3, I want us to play for pride and give 100%, going to be the last time some of these players are wearing the colours.

I don’t totally get the “I never root for Montreal under any circumstances “ debate.

The premise is false. If TFC needed a Montreal result to get to the playoffs, we would root for Montreal! So we know there is at least one situation where we would do it.

Is there a second? Like say, if it's good for our national team, who made the World Cup for the first time since dinosaurs roamed the earth.. and costs TFC nothing?

I don’t find it that hard, but that's me.

I never want TFC to lose, regardless of the repercussions. And although I’ll never want Montreal to win, I definitely want CNMT players to do well, regardless of who they play for.

At this point I’d love to see Montreal rewarded for what’s been a heck of a second half of their season. The fact that they still have a shot at winning the supporters shield is pretty incredible. It would be fantastic for the confidence of so many key CMNT a players that I truly hope it happens. Not to mention how funny it would be to see MLSsoccer.com implode as their two darlings would have capitulated.

Torontos season is over, I never want them to lose but at this point they’ve made me apathetic.

I always want TFC to win.

Let other teams worry about how it affects them.

As someone who wants the CMNT to do as well as possible, I would have preferred that all Canadian teams made the playoffs to give more playing time.

The supporters shield went to LAFC today after they beat Portland.

There you go. This is me too. Just want TFC to win no matter what.
