    Default Other MLS games - October 1 - 2

Toronto has been eliminated from the playoffs but the rest of the games must go on. Is there anyone you will be paying attention to or shifting your focus on as we come into the final few games?

    Saturday, October 1:
Atlanta @ New England – 1:30pm – Both their chances of making playoffs are slim here with 4 teams ahead of them having a game in hand. I hope we see Dwyer do something against Omar here.

Dallas @ Colorado – 3:30pm – Dallas having a strong season here and 2nd in the West for Goals against with only 35. Going to be a tough game for Colorado who are pretty well eliminated already.

    Philly @ Charlotte
    – 5:30pm – This game will likely wipe out any chances of Charlotte making playoffs. Also will give a good indication how hard they want to fight to win the supporter’s shield.

    Chicago @ Cincinnati
    – 7:30pm – Cincinnati are going to finish with their best season yet and one more game against D.C will secure this for them

    NY Red Bulls @ Columbus
    – 7:30pm – Possibly going to be a good game here, both have similar records and stats for the season, both will make playoffs.

    D.C. @ Montreal
    – 7:30pm – TSN – Montreal should likely play their bench in this game to give the Canadians a rest after international duty. With the depth they’ve got they should still be able to secure a win. Not to ruin anyone’s day but in the Extremely unlikely event… if Philly & LAFC lose both their next games and Montreal pick up both wins…they do secure the shield.

    Minnesota @ San Jose
    – 10pm – This game is winnable for Minnesota and they play Vancouver next almost solidifying their chances to stay in the playoffs.

    Austin @ Vancouver
    – 10pm – TSN – Doesn’t look like Vancouver will make the playoffs this year. Must be disappointing to them thinking they were in decent shape coming off the Voyageurs Cup Final. Austin has two games left against teams not making playoffs. Do they rest their players going into the playoffs since they already have home field advantage or do they play their best XI to keep them in form?

    RSL @ L.A Galaxy
    – 10:30pm – RSL slipping and haven’t won since Aug 31, this is LA’s chance to win the next two games and secure playoffs and I’m sure that’s what Vanney is hoping too.

    Sunday, October 2:
Orlando @ NYFC – 1pm – Orlando are going to try and push with their next 3 games to get into 3 or 4th spot in the East. NYCFC have fallen from their podium

    LAFC @ Portland
    – 3pm – TSN – The dropped points to Minnesota, Houston and San Jose last month might come back to haunt them in the race to the shield as their last two games are against playoff teams. See what they got left in the tank.

    Seattle @ Kansas
    – 5pm – Two more games for Seattle against teams lower then them in the standings, even if they win both I don’t think it will be enough for them to squeak into the playoffs.

    Houston @ Nashville
    – 8:30pm – Nashville should be able to continue their success; they have 20 goals in the last 8 games.

Philly got whacked in Charlotte - do they have the guts to get into a Cup final?

Not sure if this result helps us or not.

Wagner red card does us a favour but if Philly needs the 3, they are going right hard at MB with their press.

White caps still in it till the very end. They don’t have the payroll or name brand Singings but they do have heart. Those mid week games for those playoff east teams will say a lot going into the final games on Sunday
