As per usual the 3 points are just a bonus, this is all about beating Montreal
Game is on Sunday Sep 04 @ 7:38 pm.
Obligatory fuck Montreal.
Somebody please change the tittle.
I've been completely misreading the date for months, it seems.![]()
Apologies to all.
I would like to experience this...
Until it happens, I just can't give up...
TORONTO FC, MLS
Sounds like Osorio will be back and MAK out. According to Bradley in Beezer’s story today, Kaye was acquired with an injury. So he’s turned out to be a player for next season.
At least that means Nelson will likely be the only kid to start. He’s playing better every game but limits us somewhat compared to what a midfield of Bradley, Osorio and Kaye could be in the context of Bradley’s football.
Westberg was on the bench so let’s hope he plays (and plays well, there’s certainly no guarantee of that).
Weird cause Kaye was injured in the Charlotte game...aggravated I suppose.
I know it is buyer beware, and did we know this. If not how did he pass a physical, shame on our medical. If so why did we pay sooo much?
The verdict on the MAK/Priso trade will be more clear over the next couple seasons. As for ‘22, it has objectively been a horrific deal for TFC.
^^IIUC, Kaye was traded from Colorado to Toronto on 08JUL22.
I believe he played for TOR on 13JUL22/CHI, 16JUL22/MTL and 23JUL22/CLT.
Due to trade, obviously did not play for COL on 09JUL22/RSL.
Played for COL on 19JUN22/NYC, 25JUN22/POR and 04JUL22/ATX.
Accordingly, not sure what (nagging injury) 'he came with'?
Played a number of matches before and after trade 'uninjured'?
BTW, is COL TFC2SQRD? After LAG?
With... Beitashour, Fraser, Irwin, Kaye, Moor, Priso and Warner.
We sure could have used Priso.
I don't even know what to say. Minor injury turns into season ending from an aggravation? Where the hell was the due diligence on TFC part, we look like fools trading for damaged goods.
Ticket value for this game for a semi decent seat $30
Paying more than $30 is overpaying unless you want to go the cne also
on that case ticket value is $55
be patient tickets will come down to this price for
this game. If not let somebody else pay it
This is not worth paying $10
how can anyone. Fans or players have any desire or hope with Bono in net
BB is a shill.

Dude
No
Just no
The prices for this game are above Wednesday & LAG - its the highest we've seen all season.
The rain that day will be the thing that dampens demand.
People want out to see football. The chance for a day out at the Ex & the airshow & a game? Against the arch rivals?
Oso should be back. It’s been a full house and nothing okay under $70, (usually nothing under $100) for a while without Kaye.
I care if we have a good midfield but most, no, they won’t know the difference, and want to see the Italians in summer with the excitement of the EX.
Just an FYI
Like all SSH, I have access to see prices on the ticketmaster resale market for my tickets before the game.
That includes information on comparable tickets & what they are selling for including an algorithmically set suggested price. It is not in ticketmaster or TFC's interest to have those prices beyond what the market will bear.
The suggested price is the highest I've seen all season. Before the Italians came, the suggested prices were below cost - they no longer are.
Not a SSH; I go to usually 6 to 8 games per season, buying tix on either Ticketmaster or Stubhub. On Wed I took my kid to the Galaxy match, and the night before we went to the Jays game. At the Jays, we sat 2 rows back of the Jays dugout (Espinal gave my kid a ball which was nice) for $86 per seat, on Stubhub. At TFC the next night, S-120, R-9, $144 per seat on Stubhub. (I was also able to look at the Ticketmaster certified resale options where they show the face value of the seats, and the TFC face value was also higher.)
Interestingly, on Wednesday night, TFC outdrew the Jays 29,130 to 28,572. TFC seats are in demand.
This also underscores the paucity of media coverage TFC gets from the main outlets. The gate revenue for TFC Wednesday night had to be at least 50% higher than the Jays. Sports fans in Toronto voting with their wallets clearly value TFC. It's so strange the way the media treats football as a fringe offering.
I have a theory about this
its all about money. If tfc stadium is full why waste valuable airtime talking about tfc
blue jays can get millions of viewers all watching commercials every 10- 15 minutes
tfc games have no commercials. No money
Also, number of people watching tfc at home is really small compared to blue jays
