Fair point. There was no killer instinct or sense of urgency tonight. Combine that with the brutal mistakes and brain cramps and the right team won on the night

Care to share a link or elaborate?

Kinda lines up with Bob pulling insgine out let him know he isn't above the team, and it's the Bob show.

Kinda like Manning letting Altidore and seba play out the last season on their contract.

It makes sense as he prefers specific people vs others regardless if they play harder in practice than others.

    Congrats to Vancouver!
    They merit the Cup 100%.

Today TFC played weak, absolutely no inspiration in the last third of the pitch (attacking), no matter for a lot more posession, no matter the referee was horrible, Vancouver had more clearcut chances to score, BB was totally outcoached (beginning from the second he started Bono in goal instead of Westberg, because should have thought in advance about this going to penalties, and Bono has an atrocious penalty save ratio, well below 10%).

Congrats Manning for yet another throw-away season!

Speaking of Manning can the fans and media grill on BM too?

Yes, even though you were 3400 km away from Vancouver, Bono looked as close to stopping a penalty as you.

Osorio is a great player, but almost always screws up when he has time to think about something. A PK is the worst for that. The guy is amazing, but he NEEDS a good sports psychologist (and he must learn to admit that he needs one)

Can argue that PKs are a coin toss to make us TFC fans feel better, but losing 4 coin tosses……

I wanted to keep Perez, thought he earned it. Bob Bradley I feel like has no vision. If the team loses the next game, Bob Bradley and the Front Office all need to go. Can't keep wasting talent and the money spent on the roster.

Westberg is injured - didn't make the trip.

Bono has saved 2 of the 37 pks he has faced - 2 others have gone wide.

We lost this game when we had to play 2 guys who are not ready for this.

Kaye plays, we win. Not having a decent CM sub is a problem that may haunt us the rest of the season.

To be fair - I was informed Westberg had an injury.

Still on Manning- needed to address GK and CB position since 2018 both westberg and OG were stop gaps very short stop gaps.

    Lol

I think there were questionable decisions throughout the game that he can criticized for.

We can’t glaze over the fact that we have no back line and that Kosi continues to cost this team dearly, which admittedly should not be taken out on him, rather the person that keeps putting him in this position.

Look I get it, but like... this is simple stuff man. Give your team the best possible chance in the crapshoot, right?

These decisions do not make any sense.

We are 5 players away from being a decent starting 11 - I'd argue we need 4 decent subs.

This team remains a work in progress.

Don't know if kaye would have made a meaningful difference, tfc tactically was exposed like literally schooled, vs a team with much lower salary and pedigree.

Which begs the question- did priso need to be traded to really acquire Kaye and second where the fk is JMR

Where is this guy - I feel.like Bob ego again is getting in the way since he so young and had interest from big clubs.

The trend isn't looking good- auro, Lawrence, priso, jmr.

    Logic dictates ego thing.

I'm sincerely hoping LI was pulled due to something other than ego, if he has a knock that would kinda be the only acceptable reason.

    Precisely.

Although I’m starting to think JJ doesn’t have the feet to be our solution at striker so I’m inclined to add a DP striker to this list.

I can't figure out why there was not a tactical change at the half especially considering you had 2 guys way out of their depth in Thompson and Nelson. They both gave the ball away cheaply time and time again. I am a firm believer that this is still a work in progress but in some regards it looks more like regression instead of progression

I said that JJ was not the type of striker to lead the line at the very beginning of the season. I was dismissed then.. glad to see I'm being vindicated.

The guy is a fox in the box, we need a workhorse that can create chance for himself and interchange with the Insigne and Bernadeschi

Naw when you’re 0-3 in PKs and choose to get fancy on your following PK (and miss again!!) you have to wear that like a trophy.

Bob Bradley needs to face some tough questions after tonight. But instead asked about how good Jayden Nelson was or something.

That would happen in a normal world, but I'am afraid that in the moment Manning was not sacked latest at the end of last season, and BB came in, they both have totally safe positions until the end of the 2023 season, no matter how bad the results would be, even if TFC would be again the laughing stock of the whole MLS.

One thing that really stuck out for me: Ayo comes in late, should have had more energy than most. But he doesn't get a ball that comes forward, and then just slow jogs, doesn't press or anything. Is he really that gassed after 10 minutes?

That's just one example. I don't know, but the mentality of the team doesn't seem great.

GK is probably last on the list at this point. Priority is RB and CM. I am not 100% convinced Kaye is the solution to our issues. After that another CB and use the 3rd DP on a quality striker. JJ has done well this year but he disappears for long stretches. Granted he has little to no service but I think you use your DP spots on the best offensive weapons you can

We need 2 starting CBs, a RB, a GK & I argue somebody to replace MB next season.

    Subs 1 RB, 1 RF, 1 CM, 1 GK.

Yes I said I would wait 6 months before I make an opinion and now I have one.

He's over rated. Every decision he's made this year is absolutely baffling. He will still win something since he has the highest payroll and every player he could want but he wasted everything: season, young players, confidence, Canada cup.

First time all year I am pissed. I hate missing out on CCL to scrubs like Vancouver who don't take it seriously.

The more I have thought about it the more I feel that if there is interest from other clubs in Ayo, move him before his stock plummets. We may be able to steal a competent RB or CB
