Get the strong feeling the Impact are going to kill us early. If we play that high line, there is no speed back there today for recovery.

Lol ugly- management keeps on mis managing since 2018- there is no way TFC line up should be this weak regardless of players not arriving.

    Montreal may spank TFC.
Result of half ass'd management , could have been more strategic.

Anyone know what happened with salcedo- was this contract mutually terminated ? Is TFC still paying and any implications on roster buying power ?

Highline will expose TFC, it has been better than the first four games where anyone could send it over the top for a easy break.

Mutual termination, no roster negative roster implications.

    It might be a 3-5-2.

I suspect our biggest problem is going to be service to the strikers.

Ball movement has to be quicker then the Chicago game.

Montreal only has 5 goals in their last 6 games. Shut out 3 times.

We just beat them 4-0. No reason we can't win
    again. Their defence
is about as shit as ours

Bono being in net is usually good for at least 2 goals against....and with our back line? Putting at least one kids college tuition down on the over tonight....(I’m joking).....

What’s the odds on TFC gives up the first goal within 15 minutes of the opening whistle....I’m sure those are nice odds too...LOL...

.....is it 2023 yet? Let me know the next time TFC plays with all three DPs, Kaye and Osorio - can we have 5/11 of a lineup that seems to be playing for the present (in their prime), and not the future of kids, or the past with #4 playing 90 minutes.....A guy can dream of this reality at some point right? (Notice there are no names mentioned there of a competent back line or keeper?!)

Can someone more tactically astute than me explain why we continue to play our defenders so high when we continue to give up breakaways that result in goals?

Anyone got an idea for a drinking game for the inevitable Montreal goals coming here?

Mixed bag but he has a couple of very sloppy plays so far. Decent on the tackle but he can't keep giving the ball away.

Really beginning to notice the lack of urgency Thompson has about his defensive positioning. Foul happens on his wing...he stops moving for a bit like its a foul done during practice & they blow past him on their way against our back 3.

Its a derby - the pace is going to be fast.

Urgency...need to get these guys to recognise that every second is urgent at this level.

Pretty intense start. Change in formation definitely warranted given the lack of available players.

We have to be able to settle and possess the ball if we’re to stop this onslaught.
