Bono brilliant. Poz very poor. Need to find a way to stop getting beat down the wings.

Better leading than not but just like the first game with them, it feels as if we're riding our luck a tad...

Probably Petrasso. But, I would not be surprised to see TFC heavily scouting LB's for the summer window.

    Possible formation change too.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Yeah at least Petrasso, maybe a new signing too.

Nice surprise of a first half. I think Bradley has them well coached. They are moving the ball exceptionally well and you could tell they worked on a few things to unbalance NYCFC. Poz is taking too many touches but it’s working. Shaffleburg struggling heavily.

Hats off to Bono for that first half. Stood on his head looking right into the Sun.

My ears are bleeding after listening to what sounds like the South African World Cup played at LaGuardia

I can only see two outcomes here - Jesus scores a back breaking third or we continue to bleed chances and blow this lead.

If we hold on today we're three points off the top of the tables.

i'm thinking in terms of schoolyard football

the captain says hey, go in the middle and chase xyz, let me handle the left flank...

He’s a really good player and lethal around the net. The city football group owns smaller clubs in France and Spain, so I am sure there are some options for him.

    2 shots on goal - 2 goals

    10 shots on goal - 1 goal

Its nice to have a striker like this but ...but....this is unsustainable.

I think he's trying to do that already. But with no true DM, we're always slightly too far forward when they're in transition for him to help cover.

Castellanos is good. But he is also conniving dirty and cheap. No class. He doesn’t need to play like that.

Not sure why Shaff pulls forward so much on such a small field when we're up by two. Shaff & Petrasso often end up stepping on each other's toes while there a big gap behind them. Right side isn't much better. I think the two wing backs are the weakest part of our defense today. Similarly, it also worries me when Bradley pressures very high up field.

Agree that Pozuelo hasn't been good. Not the place to be dicking around with the ball.

Hopefully BB gets them to wise up second half.

We need to hold onto the ball, buildup a little more slowly. Trying to run a counter right now seems suicidal, as we have to sit too deep.

Holy crap Mavinga, Shaff and others just standing and watching on the goal. O'Neill watching as well and playing all the NYC players onside.

Doesn't look like BB found the right things to say at halftime

Referee got in the way there. But we’ve been under the cosh the whole game. BB should have done something at the half. EDIT but maybe there isn’t a real choice in the bench.

They're just badly outworking us right now. Pressing high, high defensive line. We need to do the same back or we have no shot.\
    EDIT:
Yeah, we're tactically mismatched right now. We're not even challenging the ball until midfield. We'll get slaughtered if we don't challenge higher.
