Just noticed Nelson was dropped. Petrasso has definitely out played him and Jayden might benefit from facing some tired legs.

There's no way Caldwell could see that as "definitely clipped". He's so full of shit it's coming out of his ears, unless he's viewing angles we're not.

No, fucking dive on the other angle.

Fucking Caldwell. Either delusional or zero humility whatsoever. He clearly dives on the replay. Clearly.

How is Caldwell always wrong, and he is always on the anti-TFC side.

Dare I say it, I agree with Caldwell? Var absolutely bungled this one.

Thought he clearly clipped him but I would like to see a slower replay to be sure.

You can say it but I think you're wrong. The reverse angle showed Magno taking a full stride past him before he suddenly went over. That was Greg Louganis-level dive.

Did Cadwell just say to book Bradley for hitting the ref?

Clipped his heel on the way up, threw him off balance as he took his next step (based on what I though I saw)

...But he didn't throw him off balance. Even if he clipped his heel, it wasn't what caused him to go down. He takes a full, totally balanced stride after the supposed contact and doesn't go down until the next stride.

So he felt the clip but went down too late, making it clear it was a dive. And VAR had three separate angles including front and back, so...

IMO the rubber hits the road when you try and plant the foot that was clipped. It might not throw off your other leg but chances are your ankle placement will be off when the clipped foot plants and you’ll tumble over.

But you could be right. I’d want to see it again

He clipped his own leg and went down. They showed it 10x.

Right, but again, someone kicks your foot as your extending it back, your stride is going to be funny on the way down.

Anyway, I admit I might be in the wrong here but that was my honest $0.02 based on what I saw live and through the course of a replay or two.

    Cheers

That's a striker's goal, great run off his defender, one touch and finish. Beauty.

So far Jesus has been a wonderful pick up - its been so long since we’ve had a consistent striker who can finish his chances - more specifically, one that stays on the field for 90%+ of the available minutes.

Why would VAR overturn it if there was contact.. They wouldnt even call the ref over.

Let’s not take what VAR does as an indicator of anything. We’ve seen enough nonsense from them so far this year

Should we even be after a DP striker still? Jimenez is quality and Akinola is coming back soon.

Feels like we'd be better off with a DP right winger or center mid.

NYCFC has more talent, we seem to be better managed. Weathered their storm and are now taking over.

I’m shocked at this scoreline based on the play this half — happy, but shocked....LOL...
