Fair. I am a huge proponent of possession but I also feel the type of system we are playing here is dated and sort of smacks of the sort of arrogance you’re referencing.

There is no compelling reason why we can beat the press based on the players we have.

Even if we somehow magically fixed the backline, where is the offensive danger coming from on this team?????? You can stick a pylon on our right wing so far this season and not lose anything. Jimenez is on an island by himself and our 3 CM try to tikki-taka around the half way line.

I think he was traded because BB places a premium on positivity. But there's positive and there's delusional. He's been really slow and basically useless today.
