My Spanish is rusty but I have nuanced the translation as...

'Tigres is analyzing two offers for Yeferson Soteldo, this is because of his indiscipline and zero commitment to do pre-season with the team'.

It seems like he's decided not to either participate properly or even show up for Apertura training?

Wow! Once again a team is cutting the cancer out before it metastasizes.

However, with two offers he seems to be able to keep circling the drain.

The profession really needs to flush this guy once and for all.

Apparently Gareth Bale to LAFC will get over the line and not take up a DP slot. This ought to raise some eyebrows.

As a non-DP is a shocker. Gotta be some extra perks included under the table.

And they just re-signed Vela. Quite the day for them.

Not really...Bale was in talks with DCU but that didn't get over the line. Is he going to destroy MLS defenders?

Insigne is the more game changing signing.

I was more thinking of the LA tweaking the rules.

Agreed. Bale is almost 2 years older than Insigne and hasn't been in really good club form for awhile. Insigne, on the other hand, has been in great form for club and country.

But they've always tweaked the rules for LA clubs. This is nothing new, and honestly I'm for it if it means that the Salary Cap rises and some of these cheapskate owners or forced to pony up more cash or sell to someone who will.

Is this really tweaking the rules?

He comes in as TAM for half a season & then either retires or stays around as a DP - we were just discussing this approach this week for a TFC DP to get around having 3 right now.

I just thinks its awesome that they are the first ones to implement it. Yes, we would/should do it as well.

100%.Doesn’t sound particularly ground breaking to me.

Interested to see what Bale has left in the tank but at face value I would much rather have LA and am excited to see who else we add next.

He looked pretty damn good for Wales. Honestly, getting him on TAM is a fucking coup.

Imagine Bale attacking Kosi or Petrasso? Seriously. He will make a great impact. Weird deal though. Sounds like he is retiring at end of World Cup - unless he falls for LA

Well lets look at the bright side, now BB has to spend more than his old club.

And if playing time for the World Cup is the real reason (after golf), then we should be able to get Junior Hoilett much needed playing time right into Oct/Nov.

This lineup attacking any MLS defense is scary.

With that lineup one might also see trade opportunities; no Blessing, no Henry.

Came across a couple of interesting articles; thought I would share for those whom may care.
IMHO they may be relatable background to current MLS/TFC on-goings.
    For instance...
The latest MLS/TFC European/SerieA transfers; in particular DP's or MLS 'LAMs' / '4th DPs'
As well as, the league's overall cap and each teams' salary/player strategy implications.

    My noteworthy takes...
Italian Football challenges, their footballers or SerieA as a source for MLS/TFC.
Given SerieA business issues and the Italian football player; the 'Crescita Decree', lack of representation amongst the top salaried, etc...
Ancillary insight into the European player gross V net salary discussion.

    Noticed this yesterday... yesh!
This cat really has got 9 lives!
And that's a solid, popular and (EDIT: RealG-TFC - mostly) reputable team!
I really do not understand this given the 'public' knowledge stench that seems to be following him.
His recent hot potato-ing around teams and leagues.
I do not think the 'Greek' lifestyle is going to do him and the organization any favours.
Maybe the language barrier may help curtail some of his bad boy behavior; yet a lot of the world gets by on broken English these days.

The owner of PAOK is a Russian-Greek oligarch that once stormed onto the field with a handgun holstered onto his person after a disallowed goal. Yefe shouldn't fuck around.

    Yeah.
    Intense.
Yet everything seems to be relative with FIFA and each country's National Governing Body.
Seems the Russian Oligarch from a recommendation of five got a 3 year ban!
Allegedly, he threatened the referee directly by showing his gun and stating you'll never ref again!
There was a monetary penalty; a non issue.
Moreover, it seems the team only got fined/docked three points!
IIRC, for 2006 Calciopoli, the influencing/aka match fixing of and by referees by team managers for a few SerieA teams- Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Reggina resulted in the stripping of titles, docking of points and relegations to lower tier leagues.
I believe only one individual end up in jail.
The many others involved were saved by statue of limitation.
