Singh was careful enough to say that he was speaking from his own intuition, not necessarily a source telling him TFC will wait till winter.
On the other hand, TFC could also use this window to bring in a DP center back that can be bought down with TAM next year and sign another star during the winter.
Probably 50/50 if they bring in a 3rd DP this window. Unless they got a big time name like Belotti willing to come in, we might just be better off seeing how this team looks with Insigne, Bernie, Kaye and Criscito on the field and finding out what happens with Oso and Bradley.

I buy that story, and I don’t think Ayo is worth that much. Priso was almost certainly worth quite a bit more.
Ayo is 22 not 19, he has a big injury history… and the only time Ayo looked elite was in the Orlando bubble*, I guess (I wasn’t watching, which may colour my view).
Priso has a much better shot at moving up the CMNT depth chart. There is a real good chance Priso makes CMNT 2026 (part of that is the aging out of Hutch, Arfield, others -even Oso at 34 may be done with the CMNT by then).
Canada are stacked up front, and everyone will still be there in 2026. Ayo has a lot more to do to become a valuable player.

But weren’t there reports that Colorado wanted Ayo as part of the Kaye deal but we declined? Why didn’t we move him then? I believe that they want to and should but seems like conflicting reports unless they knew they could get Kaye with something else and move Ayo in a different deal.
i dont know who in the mls would give up a starting cb.the best move is sell him and use that money to bring some one in.you would think they have some targets in mind,JJ is a good player but he is not a prototypical #9.but it may work for now,the 3rd dp when ever will probs be a striker
