    All's OK that ends OK.

Impressed with Pozuelo's defensive effort in the last minute (and at other times).

Lots of good things to see tonight, but TFC is very much still a work in progress, as expected. Still not happy with many of the brain farts by senior players. Other opponents will be much tougher than Dallas was tonight.

All of us would have taken that as the game started & certainly after those first 15 minutes.

    Lots to contemplate.

Good point with so many new players...Dallas a bad team as usual

I like what I see Bob doing with the team. I like this style of play. Players are committed and makes for exciting football.

Overall I'm pleased with the performance. I think some here are too harsh here on the the young guys and forgot how horrible we were last year. Young boys don't have many professional minutes or minutes in their new positions. There will be mistakes but lots of positives and potential I saw today.
Pozuelo very committed today hustling everywhere. Salcedo excellent and stabilizer on the back .

Refs prevented TFC getting 3 points today, even though I wasn't expecting 3 points to be honest. Someone needs to get a fine for those 2 terrible VAR mistakes.

Encouraging first game. We could’ve had 3 points but a draw is fine.

Hope Achara and O’Neill start the next game.

Before we go too crazy bashing Dallas… we’ve never won away at Dallas.

VAR absolutely screwed us so I will take the point all day.

JMR and Jimenez were the highlights for me.

Despite our thin roster I think we are in a decent spot with Bradley Sr. at the helm. He'll have us set up for success most nights.

Good game. Could’ve created more offensively and the yutes have obvious issues. I’m not sure why people are criticizing JMR, he played really well outside of a few late reactions that didn’t hurt us.

Mavinga was poor and got yanked, Kerr was anonymous and got yanked.

good coaching and Jimenez looks quite the find.

I've seen it too often with young Canadian players coming into the first team. So many times it looks like they're trying to be cool and composed above all else, like somehow that's been drilled into them. You're not seasoned pros, you and almost everyone will screw up, just put in some extra effort to make up for it.

Guys that big who sprint don't look like they are sprinting - think basketball.

    Okello is sprinting.

Ref was terrible. Also, wouldn’t mind Mavinga sitting out the next one at all. Overall everybody seemed to put a shift in, the belief is there and the skill is there too, just need more time together.

I noticed Jimenez get mad at Pozuelo a couple of times, and I wonder if he was drifting too far up towards him. He was also left out on an island at least once in the first half but that seemed to be fixed by the second.

Next game is against the uber pressing NYRB (TFC didn't press all that much).

I am hoping that means Priso instead of Bradley because they will target the old dude.

I will take the point and move on to the next match. Obviously a work in progress but there were some positive things to takeaway.

    Osorio: 7.7

Osorio was pretty salty to the Dallas players as well, I liked that.

The right footed O'Neill settled down the right side of their attack.

BUT, I did notice Osorio having a go at O'Neill near the end about something.

I would like to see them play a 3-5-2. O"Neil looks to be a solid pick up and Salcedo is a true leader in the middle. Put Mavinga on the left side and let JMR and Shaff move up. Impressed with Jimenez also.

Somehow jmr had a 8.2 rating in FotMob. Man of the match. Tied with Oso. I’m oso confused.

Missed the first half but Shaff and JMR looked more likely to be playing the part of wing backs (who knows what a couple of months will do). We seem to need another striker (even more so if we attempt 3-5-2). Hope to see Priso on the field soon. Fantastic to see Salcedo.

Overall, it was a fun match to watch. The group look much more organized and considering we had that much youth out on both wings (19 and 22 yr old on the left and a 19 and 17 yr old on the right), they did ok.

Shaff is a great player and I think he’s really going to grow into that wingback roll and create lots for us.

Nelson was such a pleasant surprise. Still tried to dribble a little too much but he needs this experience to work out the kinks.

JMR was quite tidy in the first half but seemed to be much more error prone and in the second. I do like how comfortable he is on the ball. Let’s all remember that he’s 17.

Jimenez looks very intelligent and composed. Seems like a decent addition so far and look forward to him getting more comfortable with the guys.

Taking a point at Dallas is great for this group. Very positive start to build off of. The effort level is there for many of the guys which is what was super good to see.

Great stuff tonight. A big test next week for the kids though. That Red Bull press has long haunted this team. They aren't super talented, but they are such a pain in the ass to play against.

Yes! This is so true. That's one criticism I actually have about Priso - he sometimes wants to look like he's playing effortlessly rather than properly.

I really hope we see massive growth from all of them this year.

O'Neill started that whole exchange. Not sure what it was over though

Love that interview. You can tell he wasn't impressed with Kerr and Mavinga, but he was very respectful about it. I wish someone had of asked about Priso though.

I wonder if his take on Jimenez was a deliberate effort to keep ego in check, or something, because it's like he didn't notice or forgot the chip over for the goal. That was deliberate, that wasn't a deflection.

The current line up really lends itself to a 3-5-2

I was thinking that he’s expecting or needs a lot out Jimenez and JJ didn’t quite hit the praise threshold. And given he’s our only striker that has a history of scoring (until Akinola returns) he’s got to do better. Great flick though for sure.
