I always root for all the MLS teams in this. Except Montreal. Can you imagine how insufferable their fans would be if they won that first CCL for MLS?

Altidore is going to get that CCL trophy now, isn’t he…

Well, New England's first round opponents have withdrawn from the tournament because they couldn't obtain visas.

Is it me or does it look like this years bracket isn't really difficult?

Montreal having a goal called back and two really bad offside calls by the refs. One was a back pass by Santos to their goalie.

And now the game has just slowed to a crawl. Montreal trying to conserve energy for the second half. Very boring to watch.

Forge looked a lot better than I expected. Shame they got beat on a shot like that.

Yeah sure is a shame, they were doing really well up to that point. I wish they had a better angle so we could see from the goalie's angle. They showed a replay later in the match but the ball was basically in the net already, they didn't show the kick and the way the ball fell. He had no one in front of him, so one can only assume with how much the wind was blowing that the ball was moving all over the place.

Annnnnd..... tonight Cruz Azul is taking it seriously.

Hey! Choniere fires in a bullet into the lower corner, and it's 2-1 (3-1) on agg.

You can tell watching them though how the basic fundamentals are weak from so many of the Forge players. Heavy touches, heavy passes, slow decision making.

EPIC collapse by New England, losing 3-0 in Mexico then going out on penalties.

Hopefully Seattle can mimic New England's result against Leon tonight

Both New England's center backs were out and they went with Omar and a guy with 13 games experience.

Omar caught out on the second goal, never should've been scored.

I haven't watched the full highlights yet, only the shootout. I was often amazed how far forward Omar would push with TFC. I mean the guy needs to learn he was never the fastest, and has gotten even less mobile. Still hasn't learned to play it safe.

Jozy on the other hand gets a major vote of confidence, given the 5th & final spot in the shootout. Doesn't crack under pressure, absolutely hammers a high-and-to-the-side unstoppable PK in Mexico, but it's not enough as two other Revs players had missed before him.

León crowd staying classy as usual....Yeesh, can’t believe we are still dealing with this crap....

MLS semi and a Liga MX semi — looked like an MLS team was for sure going to win this thing only a few days ago - now it’s a 50/50 shot at best versus Pumas or Cruz Azul - two tough places to get results.

Seattle ties Pumas 2-2 in Mexico after going behind 2 goals! Very scrappy match with VAR playing a critical role in correctly calling a 90+6 minute PK! Now the final will be Seattle. Will an MLS side finally knock off a MX team?

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Seattle is an impressive organization, and if there were a club to reach that milestone I think they woutld be a worthy recipient...but I'm still hoping Pumas takes it.

An MLS team winning the CCL is the next step for the league. When it comes to inter-MLS games, I'm TFC till I die. If an MLS team is playing a Liga MX team in any competition, I'm gonna cheer that MLS team. A better reputation for the league = better players wanting to come and play.

Views will differ but this is my view too. I would have much rather it had been TFC (we were one sitter away!!!), but I'll take any MLS side over a Mexican side.

Ultimately the prestige of an MLS side in the Club World Cup will make MLS more attractive, which means even more great players coming over.

Could do a lot worse then Seattle to win it....

NYC, Montreal, Atlanta - all would be painful in the extreme

    Except Montreal.

Good crowd during the game yesterday and good on onesoccer for showing it!

    Same view here!

IMO this is the only logical view, sorry if I offend those (there are many) who want just Mexican winners if TFC can't win it.

A level of organization TFC can only dream of.

I tried to tune in and watch it on Fubo TV but the one soccer stream was only playing the pacific game. I know that One Soccer is supposed to have all of the Concacaf champions league games on there. When you searched online for where to watch, it even said the game would be on Fubo TV. So I guess it's a little frustrating for Fubo to say you have one soccer with their subscription but really you are only getting one of their streams not all of them.
