A thread to appreciate Jozy and all the great memories.

First of all, the thread needs just one more E.

Second of all, club legend. Got us over the line in 2017, was a great force for Toronto. Hopefully when he's back we recognize his accomplishments and give him the respect he deserves facing NER.

Third of all, hope he doesn't score against us.

    Clutch game GOAT!

That game against Columbus when he refused to come off until we scored... probably damaged his longevity but guaranteed his Legend.

When Toronto FC needed a hero, Jozy Altidore delivers.

Legend. I wish he'd retired with us, that it could've stayed cordial enough for that. We should be retiring his number (and Seba's).

A true legend. Jozy, Bradley and Giovinco need a combined statue outside of BMO once all three have retired.

He is the one player I would consider getting a shirt with his name on of. When counted on, he gave it. I am convinced that without him, there is no Cup final, there is no CCL final & there is no MLS cup.

He will always be there in my brain somewhere, at BMO field hearing these words...

Jozy, Vasquez, and Giovinco were poetry to watch. And nothing was quite like watching beastmode!

Three best players we ever had for me, unbelievable combination. On form nobody could stop that team and that connection

Thanks Jozy! So many epic moments. Some great ones were mentioned above. How about the Giovinco to Altidore corner & goal?

Jozy wore his heart on his sleeve. Too bad he'll be in New England, I hope he doesn't score against TFC. I grew up cheering for a NE soccer team, but it's not the same now. I was thinking a western conference team would be better, but at least now Jozy can't score against TFC in MLS Cup.

My wife’s favourite player. An absolute terror to other teams. Not always disciplined, always determined, incredibly productive. His willingness to play through injury cost him tremendously.

So many moments. Defeating Seattle, obviously. Columbus. NY Red Bulls Red Card in the tunnel - the best TFC moment we couldn’t see, ever. NYCFC first leg.

My personal favourite was the header off Seba’s corner. What a series! Incredible and we just had to score before halftime to have a chance. The quality of that goal was incredible, literally as good as it gets on any league anywhere.

Plus the week before, after the loss in Montréal, I had got a huge TFC tattoo. So thank fucking god for Jozy. I can’t imagine how I would have felt if we lost.

Legend. Always welcome here in my books. Always.

Although I know it was time to move on, you never want to have things go south the way they did. Jozy will forever be a club legend. Thank you for everything Jozy and all the best to you in the future.

The Tea Men? I saw them once at Exhibition Stadium, they wore an unforgettable garish 70s kit.

That's right, the New England Tea Men, playing at the old Foxboro Stadium. I can't remember what the uniforms looked like, but garish would match the team name.
