Have At It People
It would be nice to actually have a good crowd for this one , it being the last home MLS game of the season, but unfortunately you will probably still get the 2 to 3000 people they have been getting most of the season, moreover, a good turnout to prove that there still is hope for a pro soccer team at this level in Toronto as long as this organization if they can right the ship and not be one of the laughing stock of the League , the crowds will come back. However, after seeing how bad the crowds have gotten this season I’m wondering if we will ever get back the crowds they were getting up until the first game of 2020. Let’s see how things go next year but in terms of attendance I don’t have much hope that anything will be any different next season attendance wise it’s pretty sad how things have turned out in that department .
Each region of North American is reacting differently to Covid. Toronto is being REALLY cautious about going to events. People are not going out as much for entertainment. EVERY venue in Toronto baring the Leafs is hurting for attendance right now. Artists trying to do gigs are having to postpone January events because people are just not going out yet.

I'm going to this one. Going to be a balmy 14 Sunday afternoon.
The Leafs have significant pent-up demand due to people that could rarely attend for a reasonable price in the past. Yet even the Leafs aren't selling out right now. Lots of regular-priced tickets available on Ticketmaster for most games. Just like everything else, the Leafs and Scotiabank Centre have their own special set of issues, but the change in demand is very notable.
Toronto is a fair weather sports town. When the Jays are bad the attendance at the dome is awful except when the Yankees or Red Sox are in town.
The dome is a horrible baseball venue, the concession/ parking costs way over priced-who wants to overpay when the team is bad, maybe its not so much fair weather but simply value minded. I know lots who listen/watch just about every game but will only go live when the team is on a run. Seriously who wants to sit in the dome after paying 30-40 bucks for parking drinking 15$ Beers while watching the Orioles beat the Jays 14-3 in the 17th match up of the year with a lineup of scrubs
Hopefully its a decent sized crowd tomorrow. I picked up a few tickets myself and with the warm weather, it should be a nice afternoon to watch a game.
$198 for two tickets in section 107
Are they on crack?
If it's not already mentioned - no service on the Lakeshore East line past Guildwood. If you're coming from any of the four Durham stops (Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax or Pickering), there will be busses that connect to Guildwood. But beware though, that as some of the drivers are not vaccinated, GO is actually using busses and crew from Coach Canada to man these shuttles.
Based on my experience using these shuttle busses today, I would suggest getting to the station at least 30 minutes before the time the train usually leaves, as they will leave earlier then usual.
Also, only trains that normally leave from Guildwood at xx:15 after the hour are running this weekend. Likewise, for the return trip, only those that leave at xx:35 from Union are operating.
As well, no service to/from Rouge Hill at all.
Nice day for a game
Hey the Toque returned
Morrow starts. Really all that matters today. Sucks to see no Shaffelburg in the 18.
Vancouver's interim coach looks like a white walker.
Shaff injured?
Why can’t I find the TFC game on TV?
Tsn showing Montreal game
Makes me sick to see Curtis and manning
TSN4 is playing the game
Yeah. TSN 4. They just focused on Montreal in the pre game because their game means way more.
That midfield will get exposed if Pozuelo gives his usual defensive effort.
Who's the bigger hipster manager? Losada or Klopp?
Looks like a much better crowd today. Definitely louder.
Not much speed on this team
I'd be upset, but the result means absolutely nothing.
lol, down first, one step closer to Ali Curtis getting the sack, soon and very soon Ali Curtis gets the sack
To me this is the real test of this teams character. This is an opponent who scored 7 goals against us and humiliated us. We can eliminate them from the play offs. Nothing less than 110% is expected. #firecurtis
There you go!!!!
Richie is the man. Gonna be really bad if he goes to Europe.
