They can take turns double pivoting the ball out of our net.

Is this thread the absolute negative record in this forum's history, concerning number of posts in match threads, before match start?

There are only 2 hours until match start, and my post is the 4th of the thread!

Interest in the club is basically nil at this point... Sadly.
With Canadian Championship on Wednesday, we will be resting a lot of players. I imagine Oso, Richie, Poz, Jozy, and Shaff are all rested. Maybe Marky and MB rest as well. Bono apparently has a small knock, so Westberg should be getting the start. Hopefully the summer of Perruzza can get started now.

Interested in the yutes, especially Dunn.

    Result is meaningless.

No injuries. Have fun. Don't get embarrassed.

That'll be a stretch. New lineup, new formation. We're going to get hammered.

Zonal marking on the corner - Westberg physically placing Gonzalez & Altidore.

Not sure DeLeon is going to come back up north from this game.

Interesting how we're moving the ball. It's like staggered one-twos between the lines. Perez may have put this together to keep pressure in Atlanta's end. Can't get caught on too many breaks though or we're hosed.

That stadium is not using the upper bowl & is half full at that - 20K, maybe. The issue with Atlanta always what happens when another local team does well & Atlanta has not been doing so well.

Dunn with the smart stutter step to push Barco onto his weak foot. He's learned a few things in three years, perhaps.

It's spreading the field wide and Atlanta are used to playing tight. It's interesting. Still seems defensively risky, but who knows.

I’m listening to the US feed and they are basically saying “how on earth are Toronto this bad” on the season and specifically “how can they go from second to giving up 60+ goals” and mention Bono pass to Higuain

Totally agree. Bono with the 3rd-worst save percentage in the league this season, but one of the higher GK salaries.

Westberg really seems to have lost his sharpness. I seem to remember a similar gaffe earlier this year. TFC might have had a decent reason not to play him much this year. Despite all of Bono's problem, our record with Westberg has actually been worse this season.

Dunn could have gotten a yellow earlier. He seems to suffer from a malaise I've seen from many young Cdn players on TFC: that they somehow feel they have to act cool on the field. Dunn had a step on the Atlanta player, but somehow felt that jogging and sliding would be enough.

“That’s a dreadful goal. Reminiscent of the one against Inter Miami with Alex Bono in goal. So avoidable”

Yeh, I've been high on Westberg but the Covid era has broken him I fear.
