Why is Caldwell taking the piss out of Soltedo for one play? He’s like our only attacking threat out there. Or at least he’s trying to be

Perez sticks to the script. Here comes Shaff.

edit: oh shit, he took out Soteldo. Surprised. Thought he’d shift to the 433.

fucking draw isn’t doing us any good at this point of the season. We have to win a minimum of six out of nine to have any chance (which we don’t, but hoping to squeak a late goal seems pretty fucking defeatist).

Ref doesn't give anything, but Caldwell is pretty sure Delgado should receive the death penalty.

He’s been really solid for multiple games now. One plus to the season.

No, Steve he got NONE of the ball.

fuck he’s either blind as a bat or utterly lacking in the humility required to correct himself.

Meh. We played for a draw when we’re last in the league.

perez playing to keep up confidence, as if theyre kindergarteners.

That was so boring. Still a decent result considering where they are in the standings and where we are.

They played to not lose, which is pretty much always garbage.

    cowardly coaching decision.

I think they got focused on that 75 goals allowed record. The humiliation of breaking it with this payroll…

Perez' quote after the game was "This team is changing from being a group of individuals to be a team."

Given that no one other than Soteldo and Lawrence is a new arrival, it begs the question of how they played as a team under Vanney, why they regressed so badly once he left.

Makes it sound like a fair chunk of our issues have just been personality problems. Maybe that's his diplomatic way of saying "well, they were a bunch of arrogant showboaters who blamed everyone but themselves, and now they're not."

    FWIW

If anybody can figure out what happened at the 43 minute that there are no highlights of that is that 0.32 chance for us.

Mullinho had a close-range shot. It was bad angle and he skied it but it was from within about 12 feet of the net. He had two men on the other side of the box open, so he should've crossed.

Been a while since I watched a game where nobody really wanted to score from either team (aside from a few individual efforts). They were both worried about not getting scored on more and nobody really wanted to press as a team on either side. Pretty boring.

I had a choice between going to the Atletico Ottawa game or watching TFC. It sounds like I chose the better option (though the ATO theme song could use some work).
