I agree that he shows more promise going forward. That finish Wednesday night was very nice. I just can't see someone who is that big and tall being a midfielder for long.

Mavinga being made of glass is enough reason for me to want him gone next year. Only getting older.

Honestly done with Mavinga. He has regressed badly and is always hurt. Completely okay with Giovinco and Soteldo as the starting CB's next year.

Our weak spot is Noble in front of Omar. That’s where they’ll try to sneak ina trap break or trailing mid.

I suspect this approach is all about clock killing due to altitude. He won’t put in any speed or change things until the last third of the game unless we’re losing. Probably smart. Boring as fuck though.

Who has been our best player? Delgado? Soteldo? Haven't really noticed anyone else.

When the highlight of the first half is what goals the CWNT players have scored today.

Kemar Lawrence is doing well. Nobody awful yet except Mullinho, who looks unlikely to do any damage, his movement and anticipation are so poor.

Omar has a left-side blind spot. Never outlets that way, never tracks runs from oblique angles to his left. Interesting to see if they take advantage.

On the plus side, Colorado looks like they all ate heavily before the game, they’re moving so slowly. On the downside, Barrios and Shinyashiki are genuinely dangerous all the time.

That was … bleh. Two teams putting six men behind the ball at all times does not exciting football make.

Kilbane calling out Mullins’ lousy movement and decisions.

The dude is not a starting striker in MLS. If he’d even tried to run in behind on that play, it would’ve created room for Soteldo to shoot by dragging the defender with him.

he just has no idea what he should be doing. I just don’t understand why we would start a guy as striker in a two-man front who doesn’t know what to do off the ball.

that kind of crap is as much why he got moved from position to position at New England and DC as anything. He had a lot of limiting injuries, yeah, but it’s not like he took the chances he got.

Use him as a late-game defensive forward only. Anything else is just a waste of a spot. Worse it limits his Partners’s efficacy.

A league game away, and we have six posters in this thread. It’s the kind of warning sign MLSE should pay attention to, but probably won’t.

Be interesting to see how Fraser adjusts. Expect a more aggressive Colorado this half.

    Like, where was Mullins going?!

He doesn’t even run to the posts. He had no one on him and ran three feet outside the left post.

Its almost like he's under orders to not extend himself & get to 75 minutes or more before Achara comes on.

That pass from Lawrence to Laryea just looked awful. At 65’ bring in Shaff and Achara, put Soteldo in them middle. Mullins for sure coming off, probably go 4 in the back. Not sure who the other person to come off will be.
