The most pragmatic "we will kill you however we can & not care about anything but the result" team comes back to Toronto
IF we go down to 10 men again, no way we have even a sniff of their goal.
This one has 2-0 loss all over it.
While the team isn't good (and is getting perilously close to one of the worse TFC teams in our history) - I still look forward to the games for one simple fact:
To me it is still enjoyable to 'go out somewhere' in the current environment.
I for one am still going as much as possible to outdoor events right now because if the last 18 months have shown me anything its enjoy what you have, safely of course, while it is available as things can change quickly.

In regards to last night's attendance, here were my thoughts

Plus, don't midweek games at home typically have lower attendances?
Anyways, whilst the attitude and work rate was great against Miami, I feel like the players might struggle to push in a similar vein after seeing them get nothing for it. Lawrence being suspended for 3 matches basically means more Auro, which helps us at least, but I do wonder if the team will be able to replicate the recent performance against a team that is effective at stopping the opposition from playing football and then getting a win out of it.
Just checking some stats and it shows we are 2.08 goals conceded per match. If we continue on this way for the rest of the season it puts us around 71 goals and that's top 5 worst all time in the league (75 was worst in 2019 by Cinci and then 74 in 2018 by Orlando).
By standards, Nashville is sitting 2nd at .91 per match. They are even better .78 for away games (I'm guessing due to low block or bunkering when they are away from home).
The quest for the Wooden Spoon continues.
I wish we would get relegated straight into the CSL. That's what management deserves. Wake the F up MLSE.
The Boys were brilliant against Miami. Totally controlled that game with ten men. Worked hard, scored, Shaff was excellent. More of the same, please.
Soteldo in particular I thought had his best game for us, in a more central position. I still dont see how they get the best out of him and Pozuelo when they are both on the field - less than the sum of their parts so far.
Anyone got tickets for tonight's game ?
2-1 win, goals from Soteldo and Perruzza.
1-1 draw.
FWIW, Nashville flew in yesterday

Dwyer starts and Soteldo is on the bench. Also, Zavaleta over Mavinga.

This is going to require alcohol, isn't it

Molinaro also pointing out players might be rested for the cup game on Wednesday.
Yes, it has come to that.
We are resting our only non-injured DP in order to be prepared for the mighty hordes of York....
Fielding Dom Dwyer makes me resent following this team.
We’re too ignorant to cut bait when things don’t work.
A 3-nil loss
Oso seems to be the only one on that pitch that could actually break down a good defence, let alone a VERY good defence like that one Nashville has.
I for one will not waste one minute of my time watching this game tonight
The cb pairing tonight is a nightmare waiting to happen. Hopefully this game doesn’t totally knock out the remaining lift from the effort last game.
