Good God he kicked our keeper in the face. Surely he’s getting a card?!?!

How the hell is that not a booking.

Isn't a high boot usually a booking? What the hell. Edit took long enough.

We are a bad team. It’s that simple. We were in 2018, had a lucky playoff run in 2019 that obscured the rot, certainly for me, and are just older now. Plus management has miserably failed at recruiting.

Is that actually a yellow card? To me, that was dangerous, and when Robinson caught Westberg on the face/eye, that certainly has to be a red, no?

Should be a red. Kicked him in the face! Incredibly poor call.

All I want is Curtis to be grilled before firing his ass.

I have no say with the supporter groups i know but hope in the future we hold Curtis/Manning to the fire for the rest of the season, no acquistions in the previous transfer window, no improvements to the medical staff, content to go for an unproven coach for the rest of the season, instead of getting in a coach, to start making his footprint but unfortunately nothing will be done as long as we pocket MLSE funds, lets hit them in their pockets to prove to them this is not acceptable

Problem with playing the kids to send a message: they weren’t trying any harder tonight. Morrow in for Singh was the right message.

I feel for Achara here. He's trying real hard, but the rest of the team just isn't keeping up with him. At this point, Perez has tried everything, but I don't see what else he can do with this XI. As sad as it seems, I think the players have thrown this season away now.

The kids can only do as much as they are taught to do & with the leadership around them.

Omar is not a leader of a backline nor a teacher - nor is Mavinga. Until we get a decent CB or two who wants to be a leader, Singh will not get better.

Same with Okello - Bradley is a leader but Delgado has no desire to teach.

My other issue is Poz & Soteldo do not want to share the damn ball.

Soteldo should never have been brought in. He wasn’t needed and doesn’t fit with Poz. Lawrence isn’t anything special; we would be fine with Morrow - compared with bringing in a CB with a similar profile to Lawrence

If our front office had any balls they would walk into the dressing room, post a list of all the regulars except Ralph, Oso Achara and Auro — the only four starters who have worked hard all year — and tell them that if we miss the playoffs, no one on the list is getting a renewal. And anyone with more than a year left is on the transfer list.

we probably should have been nervous just from his fairly low offensive production at Santos.

He sort of reminds me of Pablo Vitti, albeit a bit more dangerous. lots of dancing and no product.

can’t believe we paid 6M for the guy. That could get us a Raul Ruidiaz level striker from Mexico or Argentina.

Og is so right about leaders not being teachers. A couple years ago we were successful with Zav and Hagglund as starters.. cause Drew Moor is/was a leader and teacher

When Mavinga gets back we should play him with Morrow (who played a few dozen games at CB for San Jose and can actually read the game). Omar is the place where games go to die.

And then we give up a stupid foul or shot in the last minute and still lose by two.

don’t hold out hope for these losers, they don’t deserve it

I agree the “veterans” aren’t teaching or guiding them.

But I can’t fathom young players not sprinting when needed, like after a turnover or coming back after a corner kick. Nobody should need to teach them that.

they stop doing that when the players influencing them don’t, because they arrogantly believe they shouldn’t waste the energy. That’s what having arrogant players does, it rubs off on the kids.

I don’t see why not. He’s got ball skills but he’s fucking useless defensively and makes way too slow decisions to be a two-way midfielder.
