Not sure what to expect any game. Just want to be entertained at this point. Let's see what Peruzza has to offer....or why bring him back to the team? Just to sit on the bench?

Mavinga might be available - his kid has been at SickKidds this week, he tweeted out.

craziest part is - as bad form as mavinga has been in- TFC would have most likely had a draw last home game and possibly a clean sheet draw vs ATL.

I'm expecting Perez to start Achara up front again, but at this stage, I'd rather see him either come off the bench as an impact sub or play as a wide forward. At this moment, he doesn't offer the sort of movement that strikers typically offer, and whilst he can develop that over time, I'd rather see how he and Perruzza work together in the same side.

Given that both Nelson and JMR are also in our squads, I would like to see them get some minutes off the bench. They find the USL a bit too easy anyways, so why not?

Strikers cannot make normal runs with Yefferson on the ball - needs some thought by Perez how to create and exploit space given his slow ball movement. So a slow striker who can get position on the defence would actually be fine. peruzza might be that.

The solution to me is to put Soteldo on right wing where he becomes more predictable on his dribbling and crossing. Less of fancy 1v1 trying to cut in.

All I want to see for the rest of the season are the kids. Play them. Blood them. Get them ready for next year.

Though I'm still so bummed about Ayo and Ralph. If Achara goes down again I think I'll puke.

I do not have any expectations from this season, like most sane people on this board.

However, the high point of the remainder of this season would be if your "dog" would be impressed at least once.
More so, would be catharctic, if he (she?) would show us another pic, while being impressed.

Same. Finally we have promising academy/young players and both get injured.

Season is done. Play the kids and see who can break into a starting line up next year and then make some trades for vets who are replaceable.

The latest piece in TFC Republic is an interview with Bob de Klerk. He describes how the players lost hope under Winter because no matter how well they played they kept on losing. Unfortunately, it’s eerily reminiscent of the team under Perez right now. I hope it’s not because I actually like Perez, but it’s hard not to see the similarities.

I’m not sure I agree with that. We have players like Pozuelo, Soteldo, Osorio, Bradley, each of whom is head and shoulders above anyone in that former line up. We are still recovering from Armas ball. Different circumstances

I agree that the circumstances are different, but aren’t they always? My point was not that it’s the same, just that it appears the similar, which could mean that it’s similar in some respects.

I like the lineup - lets see how Singh can do as a CB (although being beside Omar isn't going to help) - Delgado as the DM.

To brighten up this dismal season & year, maybe we should start posting pet pics. We got two cats from the shelter during the pandemic. They’re darn cute.

Kilbane with the "He's not good enough" about Michael Bradley not starting......OWCH.

Gloves are off for TSN when assessing this team after Armas was let go.

I suspect Singh with Q in net will be better. I can imagine better communication in comparison with Bono.
