3-5-2 seems to be the plan. Yes, it would be good to have Poz and based on the words of Perez this week, he should be there on Saturday. But that's not a bad lineup & should give Philly some pause offensively.

Still expect to give up a garbage goal or two. A point here would be a good result.

No, Philly at home. Unbeaten at their park in seven (I think they only lost once there all last season, for that matter).

    A gentlemen's agreement on a six-year-contract? Okay.

Still, imagine what he'd do to MLS defences!

Wouldn't mean making the all-star team, mind. With 27 teams in the league, only 16 are represented. Seattle has half its first tema voted in by mass balloting, and Bob Bradley, the coach, has picked half his own first team as well. Why? Why would half the league bother watching a farcical friendly with Liga MX when we root actively against so many of our own participants?

Philly has seven straight unbeaten but I think five of those were draws, and Monteiro is forcing a transfer, so they might be riled.
The money floating around the premier league is nuts, that's $174M CAD for Grealish, and Kane's asking price would be north of $200M!

To get a rotation player nowadays is like $25M GPB, and like $50M+ GPB for a first team player.....

Pretty solid lineup and the kids for some late subs. Might as well, given our general paucity of depth.

I can't believe Villa paid $25M for Danny Ings. I mean... he has two great seasons behind him, yes, but quite a few more before that where he wasn't nearly as effective, and he's not young. Even if you assume late peak (by striker standards) at 29, the notion that he's going to bang in 15 a year is fraught with issues.

Thats as good a lineup as it gets in this league. Interesting to see when lineup they use when Poz returns - likely a 4-2-3-1 and Poz comes in for Zav I suppose. Soteldo-Poz-Oso in the "3'

Decent pregame show with Kilbane making JDG better through his interaction

Which of course means we get stuck with Caldwell & "I have my lines to read out in these first 15 minutes so hopefully not much happens in terms of action" for the game call.

Our defense is garbage yet again.
Logical lead for Philly after 2 great early chances.

This could go south real fast.

We are getting outclassed all over the pitch.

It doesnt matter who our coach is, we cannot defend corners, crosses or set pieces

TV production is utter shite - missed a give away earlier and now a shot on goal because they went for a replay.

    ****

Almost as bad as our defensive midfield work...

Why does the team going for long passes? TFC doesn't have those kind of passers.

Soteldo can’t play through the middle, passing just isn’t good enough to be that kind of focal point
