I suspect our lineup stays the same with maybe Moulinho for Dwyer.
Can't see much change either. I would say maybe Endoh comes out, but I have no idea who would replace him. Perez hasn't exactly shown a ton of love to the young guys yet.

Endoh's playing great, he's not coming out.

The only lineup difference I could see is maybe Jozy getting more time either starting then subbed at the half or vice versa. Does anyone know the timeline for Westberg? I am so pumped for this game, the first time back in BMO in 16 months. I am looking forward to it

He said he was probably a week away on his way out of the stadium.

Perez does seem to love Endoh. Can't remember the last time we saw him play the full 90 before last Saturday. Shows a ton of trust.

Endoh is better than some think. Not world-class good, but a solid MLS player with quite a bit of technical skill. Not suitable for Armas style rush-ball, but suits Perez's style of play quite well. Plus he has a great attitude.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Life with Perez has been nice so far but that's been against 2 teams that prefer to stroke the ball around & don't press that much.

Tonight we deal with a press. Admittedly not a very good team over all.

Lets see how the passing game does against that, specifically if they press Bradley & Gonzalez.

Also wondering if there is going to be any turnover because we are in the midst of 3 games in 7 days

^ Definitely a fair question. Lower quality opposition and a perhaps more challenging style of play to deal with.

I’m dreaming of a dominant performance and the team getting a good confidence boost out of it. But I probably should be cutting down my expectations a bit.

Seems like there would be a certain irony in being beaten by a team with a high press. Let's not let that happen.

We don't need to change the way we play - we just need to be quicker with everything we do.
Think quicker, Move the ball quicker, move to open spaces quicker.

If we play a strong 65 minutes, NYRB should be ragged and somewhat dejected - then we bring in max subs and close the game out.
Close the game out doesn't mean sit back and absorb pressure. it's means finishing the game strong and running the Shit Bulls into the ground. They should be demoralized by the 75th-80th minute.

Also a fair bit of that "activity" has pushed onto King Street, so streetcars may be diverting or quite slow if you're taking that route.

Excited to watch the progression of the club. Would love to see a full 45 minutes of Jozy with Yefy and Poz.

Dead on. Soteldo makes a significant difference in this case.

Lopez is favoring a 4-4-2 with Poz as a false nine, so it's easier to break a mid block press with overlaps and wide speed, which we have in abundance. When we beat Philly 4-0 last year they were using the mid block and we just ran around it all game.

Philly is and was a better club than NY.

At Barnsley, Gerhard Struber relied 100% on the second ball after crosses in.

I guarantee you he tries to have wingers ping the ball into the box and then has two midfielders tailing late to pick up loose balls. So basically we need to shut down the top of the box and play the trap effectively, so that Omar and Mavinga aren't caught deep.

Then have Delgado (not Bradley, ideally, as he's not as mobile) rove a little a head of the backline when we're in defensive shape, and have the wingbacks pinch in once the ball is delivered to the box. Then we have three guys preventing his main goalscoring threat.

That is exactly how they play & in many ways, is how RB played under Marsch. The amount of goals BWP scored when coming into the box late after lollygagging around the top of the box while some random dude forward took up space between the 2 CB's was staggering.

Just getting back from vacation today and grabbed a couple tickets to tonight’s game. Can anyone tell me what I might need to know? Can I still bring in a string bag?

    SHOW UP EARLY

Lines were long on Saturday - people found the lineups in were negligible on the south side but over an hour at the north - should be better tonight but they are not going to be ready for the 12K or so showing up

    No to string bags

    Clear or not allowed in

String bags may not be great anymore - they may not meet the size dimensions. I have a small tote specifically for this purpose but it isn't great.

Has anyone used any of their food credit received for not getting back our SSH deposit? How do I access this and use it in stadium?
Sorry for the questions-literally getting back from cottage country and heading straight to the game. I’ve had no connectivity to check these things out.

Does this Bill Manning pre-game interview just cement the idea Curtis is toast?
