Default Other MLS Games This Weekend - July 3-4

All kickoff times are as per MLS as time of writing - subject to change

Games in Red are IMHO worth watching for some reason or another - YMMV

Jerseys being worn found here https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/what-...or-mls-week-11
(Columbus wearing Grey/white is a crime)

    Saturday

NER @ Columbus 5:13pm - CBus new arena opener - see the highlights - would be a decent game to have an eye on during ours - we play NER midweek at their abomination

Miami "@" Montreal 7:38pm - game is in New Jersey - Montreal should be favourites

NYRB @ Orlando 7:38pm - Orlando needs to build up points because Nani (and Pareja teams) tend to flame out after 60% of the season

Atlanta @ Chicago 8:08pm - Atlanta does a lot of draws. Chicago only below us because their defence is even worse

San Jose & Minnesota 8:08pm - after a poor start, Minnesota has righted the ship. SJE just fired their GM (don't expect a new GM bounce)

Philly @ Nashville 8:08pm - Nashville doesn't lose at home - Philly doesn't lose away. LOTS of grit in this game.

Cinci @ Houston 8:38pm - Orange derby - Cinci's win streak might continue here

LAFC @ RSL 10:08pm - If LAFC is to climb back into contention in the West, they have to start winning away games- this one might be doable

    Sunday

Vancouver @ Dallas 8:38pm - the west equivalent of us versus Chicago - only for the diehards

Seattle @ Colorado 9:08pm - TFC Mountain team vs. TFC nemesis - Seattle is finding a way but this is one of their biggest tests all season

    SKC @ LAG 10:38pm - #2 vs. #3 - will feel like a playoff game

Enjoy - should be some decent games this weekend..and ours too

C Bus stadium is so weird to see that team in something not looking like a high school football stadium

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Fire lead Atlanta 1-0. A fitting end to the day if TFC end up alone in the basement.

Montreal leads Inter Miami 1-0. They only have one DP, have a new coach and also play in Florida.

Fire up 3-0 now. Last place belongs to TFC.

So the jackhammer thing may not work but this thing Bez might have gotten right

Before the new Crew stadium opened, they asked the players for ideas about what the stadium atmosphere could be

Apparently, (I never knew this), the Nordecke after wins sang "I can't help falling in love with you".

The players suggested the fans sing it BEFORE the players came out.

Its not YNWA but that thing...that will get bums in seats alone.
