My prediction for today’s game is a 2-2 tie that we easily could have won if it wasn’t for stupid mistakes and some great missed chances. And then the FO will toot its own horn about progress being made and how great the team played against such a strong opponent. That or a ridiculous loss that makes everyone angry.

Edit: I really hope that neither happens 😢

If that isn't enough to get you sacked......Well I'm going to bet a beer that we don't win more than two games in the next five, surly he has got to be sacked then right?
I suspect a factor could be if the MLSE board is even willing to buy out the remaining of Armas' contact to begin with.

I was trying to find out on Google how long his contract is, and came across this article on The Athletic which I had missed:

    https://theathletic.com/2326173/2021...ris-armas-mls/

    Interesting paragraph I found:

"It’s even more important to understand the lens through which TFC viewed this search. The club expects to contend for MLS Cup this and every season. Curtis and club president Bill Manning wanted to hire someone capable of winning immediately — someone who wouldn’t take a long time to adjust to Toronto or MLS. That wasn’t the only consideration, of course, but it’s fair to assume that it hurt international candidates, who have historically struggled in the league, and MLS assistants without prior experience as head coaches."

Management and PR (Wheeler and the socials dude) are just gaslighting the fuck out of the fan base with the shit spewing out of their mouths.

Armas’s contract should be a rounding error in all this. He would of had little negotiation leverage and MLS coaches are generally not highly paid to begin with.

    Least of our worries

I would be willing to bet money that Curtis was able to hire Armas without any in-house kick back because Armas has a winning record as a head coach. Forget about all the reasons why he does, especially like taking over a team where he was an assistant from a highly successful coach, ‘no excuses’ only applies in this circumstance. FML 🤦🏼

Poz & Seteldo on the bench - Poz is bonus & given the travel for Soteldo, I'm OK with that choice. Priso starting with Bradley & Osorio in the midfield

    The 3-5-2 lives, it seems.

The bench could definitely beat the starting 11.

Really gonna struggle to create chances with that team. Gotta keep it close until we can get Soteldo and Poz on.

I’m okay with this choice too.
It’s the way it should be. The dp’s don’t play because they are the don’t plays
It’s perfectly logical and makes perfect sense
For the don’t plays to play is illogical

According to the MLS website, Armas is playing a 3-4-2-1.

Why do I get the feeling that Armas is just throwing formations at the wall and hoping something sticks?

I don't think he's gone until TFC loses to Forge in the Canadian Championship.

    .

TFC coaches tell the TSN crews what the formation will be prior to the coverage starting - wait to see what formation they put out.

The Chris Armas is pulling a me when I struggle playing online on FIFA. I mean, the problem can't be me. It has to be the formation.

I just cant listen to JDG. Please go away, and do not remind of us the era where TFC were equally as abysmal.
