Jesus they really want no one to watch this match to sit it squarely between the two EURO quarter finals.

this post says Saturday July 2nd but the MLS website and the schedule says Saturday July 3rd. so I'm sure it's on the Saturday and not the Friday. Probably just a mistake.

    Fixed thread title, it's Saturday.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

DC is improved, we've plummeted. Either way it'll be ugly as goose shit on a paper plate compared to the displays there so far.

Woke up this morning and couldn’t remember if the game was tonight or on the weekend. Very glad it’s on the weekend - not sure if I’m ready to suffer through watching an Armas led team play again after this past weekend…

At least after watching an amazing week of football at the Euros, Armas can bring us back to Earth with a bit of Armas-ball this weekend.

From Buffery, sounds like no Poz on Saturday. I wonder if Armas’ advanced training tactics have injured someone again.

I wonder if he is trying to leave. I have wondered that the whole off-season and preseason.

When is somebody going to ask some serious questions about our injury problems? It sucked even under Vanney and it's gotten worse. It got really bad the year after TFC won the Cup, TFC management talked about it, they hired some highfalutin sports science company so that would never happen again. But we kept having injuries, the sports science company was never mentioned again, and nobody can figure out what's wrong and nobody talks about it. And then TFC apparently forgot to deal with fitness during the last off-season after some of Vanney's guys left.

It’s only the dp’s that get injured for extended periods of time the regular player is generally fine

This is actually a good point. Why is it only the important players that are getting injured?????

    Why Osorio and not Endoh.

Actually, I think Endoh was 9n the injury list this year at one point. I think we just don't care as much about the 15 to 21 players, so we don't notice. I could definitely be wrong, though.

Could it be they train and/or play more then others?

Or maybe issues with the medical staff, including the possibility of not knowing how to treat (medically) them correctly?

Plus some of them also play with their respective national teams as well, so that should be taken into consideration as well.

I just hope that whoever we hire to replace Armas brings in a legit medical staff. Our old one was trash but this Ex-LA Galaxy run one is no better.

Is this the last game we will have Osorio, Lawrence etc. available? When will The Chris Armas have that excuse available?

I misunderstood. I thought the point of your post was to look at minutes lost to injury and assess whether there was a pattern.

Just a little stat I read on the TFC site.

"Toronto FC has lost five straight games and now has lost 11 times in its last 15 games (W2 D2, including playoffs). Prior to this run, the Reds had suffered just 10 losses in their previous 48 matches dating back to May 2019 (W23 D15)."

If that isn't enough to get you sacked......Well I'm going to bet a beer that we don't win more than two games in the next five, surly he has got to be sacked then right?
