Default MLS to launch new professional league in 2022

Assume TFC II is bound to end up in this newly announced MLS owned D3 league after 7 years in the USL setup. It's interesting that the US will now have three sanctioned D3 leagues along with this one, USL League One and NISA.

I wonder if they're going to set it up as a U-23 league and use this as the pipeline for Olympic teams. And I don't expect Canada Soccer will allow the Canadian MLS clubs to join it.

The Canadian MLS teams can have a reserve team in it as the CSA view these teams an extensions of the first team, not a separate entity. TFC II is allowed to play in USL and Vancouver and Montreal had USL teams in the past.
