it was not perfect but hell we got a point in a stadium where we have always had diffilcult playing in. Plus we witnessed the first Nova Scotian to score in MLS
I think Ayo's off season training wasn't up to standard this year. He looked very heavy* to me in his first appearances and has been slowly getting into shape. I assume that's partly where everyone's injuries are coming from. I hope he gets back to 2020 form.
I don't think Auro was successful in the CM spot, although I assume the idea was to combine with Solteldo.
* of course, still waaaay more in shape than my scrubby nature...
Or you could say, Ayo is out-of-shape because of his injury AND lengthy illness AND COVID disruptions to training. I agree he looks far less nimble than last year, but hopefully that will come back w/o further injury.
