As for TFC, we’re in a real bad spot. I do not think anyone is saving this team and what’s worse, they’re likely coming into a very divided dressing room. Someone needs to ask Ali what the hell is going on with Altidore. They need him back. There’s no benefit to having him sit around while the team pays his salary.
They had to do it. As much as they wanted to give him a chance to coach at home, the string of losses followed by the disaster against DC forced their hands.
Armas might do well as a college coach, that would be the right space to learn how to manage a team. Not an MLS first team.
