Clark is very impressive indeed. Shambles by us though. we look terrible to be honest; hoepfully its just that we are missing our best player (poz) best striker (jozy) and best midfielder (oso)

At the end of this game, Armas (& Bono's supporters in the media) are going to say Bono was not at fault for the goals & he is playing well.

All ignoring the fact that Bono can not marshall his backline.

    Mullinho sighting,
No problem, he'll bag 3, and we win this one!

    “Fabio was hesitant”...
And yet still danced around Omar like he was a pylon.

This team is like watching the old TFC teams over 2012, 2013. Watching the games, where is the offense going to come from?

What are they even trying to do right now? Not only do I hate the play but i detest the system. its so bad. it finds a way to make even our healthy players worse playing to the defficiencies in their game.

Agree but Omar Gonzalez’s glacial-like pace isn’t helping either. The relationship between the defence and midfield also looks broken.

A 17 yr old phenom is pwning us
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

From hoofed long balls, I guess. We have reverted back to a MLS 1.0 playing style.

It seems like these boys have no game plan. Can’t put passes together. I’ve watched a lot of MLS games this year and TFC by far the worse looking

This sort of game happens almost every time we got to NYRB.

Do decent enough in the first 20-30 minutes, but lack the final touch.

Give up a goal against the run of play.

Can't do a DAMN thing afterwards.

Give up a second goal due to some defensive stupidity.

    Ends 2-0.

    ******

We are going to get crushed in the next 2 games if we play this way.

no evidence so far that Arms knows what he is doing. when Poz and Oso join will be interesting to see, plus the wild card of Jozy. Dunno. Complete shambles today and i dont find helter skelter persausive

Mo was a NYRB reject. So now we've tripled down on that bet. I'm starting to get TFC PTSD flashbacks to the bad old days.

This team is actually hard to watch. It’s not just today either. It literally looks like they’re out of ideas.

Literally looks like they don’t have a coach lol.

Was very skeptical of Armas when we bombed out of the CCL and he didn’t seem bothered. Think he’s a full blown bozo now to back it up with this performance.

I mean, full acknowledgment this isn’t our 100% team and things are in flux but when:

    - our set pieces suck
    - our set piece defending sucks
    - defensively we look disorganized
    - attack wise we are not dangerous
    - lineup choices are a bit dubious (DeLeon at AM, Bono in goal)
    - Our tactics reflect some sort of cult-like adherence to a system rather than thinking of the characteristics or our roster or our opposition.

Doesn’t look good on the coach. Let’s hope it gets better.

JMR also looking out of his depth so far.

Starts feeling like they’re forcing the youth before ready.
