That was pretty pathetic lazy defending that led to that.

Like much of our midfield play, to be honest....lazy.

He got ball. Agree it was dumb. Not a 100% penalty.

This is just annoying to watch - how many teams are going to be playing with ZERO DPs on the field and still expect to win games. No Poz, No Jozy/Ayo (yet), No Oso, No Mavinga, seems to be turning into No chance.....maybe León was the peak for the “kids and No DP” lineup.....

Love how Caldwell always wants to get Delgado off the field.

This is the most boring match I've ever watched... zero quality on the pitch right now. Pozuelo and Soteldo can't come soon enough

We're really weak on attack today. Lucky to have been one up. Now that's over after a silly challenge by Laryea, going in with his wrong foot, he didn't have a chance there.

Good that some of our attacking subs are ready to come in. Mullinho off, good, he also likes to slow-jog when he's supposed to press.

What I would say about the young guys: Nelson, Singh, Okello occasionally: they sometimes display a nonchalance that is out-of-step with their experience, skill-level and tenure on the team. I noticed the same thing last week with those and other young players.

I.e. Nelson in a ton of space not far from the Orlando goal; takes too much time and jogs to the ball; thinks he can shield off a much stronger Vancouver player. He had lots of time to do something better with the ball. A couple of other times where a simple pass would have been better than something fancy he tried. (Not that he should never be fancy; just more judicious.)

Singh jogging back after a turnover instead of sprinting.

Okello does similar things but definitely not as often.

Caldwell really is galling. These subs are not happening because “Armas is not happy with how the game is going”. We talked all week about how how would do exactly this.

I’m not mad at this group but it’s like I’m watching 1/2 a team - easily there would be Jozy/Ayo, Poz, Oso, Mavinga and now a third DP (Soteldo) on the field as starters normally, so 5 (non-goalie) players who are missing.....it just makes a smidge of a difference.....

I've muted Caldwell & Co now.

Does anyone know: can I hear stadium sound on TSN Live w/o the commentators?

    Singh has to listen.

I might be inclined to throw on JMR with the last sub. Or at least someone that on paper could find a forward on a map.

Let me know when my actual starting roster can be on the field at the same time - until then, this is garbage.....they’ve been outplayed today, and the 1-0 lead was a mirage....

“It’s been coming” says Caldwell. they have no shots on goal in the half but somehow a header off a cross is vindication for his stream of bullshit. I ah e to turn the volume off, can’t listen to this ass any longer.

    Eff it.

    Stupid foul to give.

A couple of people ball watching on the free kick. Why did Singh end up standing all alone at the penalty spot?

Westberg's communication is being missed here. Armas seems to prefer shot stopping but our back line needs somebody to tell them who to watch & Bono isn't good enough at that.

I don’t know if the 1-0 was a mirage but the team has looked pretty casual today. Needs to be sharper, especially from the guys stumping their case for more playing time.

The injuries shouldn’t make a difference. By their own words: “No excuses”.

I will give this team at least half the season to sort their shit out. If we’re still playing poorly I will be on the #Out train.

Both teams very poor, our defense slightly poorer

that’s the story so far, basically.
