Yep, some of the kids were bound to fall out of the 18 once some of the vets returned.

If Zavaleta is healthy, he should be starting over Singh.

Also, if Bradley plays all 90 minutes today we know he is and has actually been the coach of the team for the past 7 years.

Pretty much. Still yet to see a coach that’s not USMNT be willing to take him off during a bad performance.

Wow, Montreal is winning another one, 2x0 against Nashville away from home. I thought they would be an easy "practice" for everyone, boy was I wrong.

This will be an interesting test of Armas' system.

We don’t have to chase, so no need to press 100% in the heat, and take those risks. Let’s see what they do.

“in fairness to Gonzalez,” ...fuck off , Caldwell. geez.

Why was he praising that anaemic offensive Vancouver move? Because as a Scotsman it’s anathema to praise his own.

he always has to overcompensate for being a former TfC player.

Caldwell has this annoying thing about people playing in their "natural position". If he had his way, we'd be playing 4-4-1-1

We have some of the best fake crowd noise. I remember last year playing NER away, their crowd noise seemed like the same 5 second clip played on repeat for 90 minutes.

Feel like Nelson maybe needs a bit more incubating. I can tell he's got talent but he can't quite seem to put it together in the key moments (queue him scoring now that I've said this).

Nelson is just not ready for MLS. Too many wrong decisions.

He needs a nice loan at CPL or USL to get some experience
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Singh has been super solid at the back, including winning a couple of 1v1 situations with Cavallini. Not that Caldwell could care less.

I maintain Nelson really needs a loan and to play a ton of minutes somewhere. Especially with Soteldo incoming.

Agree about Nelson. Seems his feet are operating a few micro seconds ahead of his footy brain.
