When we signed Gonzalez and Bradley the team options were reported as such. This states that it's a 2 year deal. Makes me think next year is guaranteed.
I hope so but given options are generally announced, i have my doubts. Plus all the journos reported it as a two year deal at the time.

We are 1 point below the expansion team Austin and they have a game in hand on us so could be up to 4 points different depending on that game's result when factored in. Different conference and all that but still....doesn't feel great. Got to get stuff sorted. Jozy having surgery without TFC putting something out is pretty bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, we can still sign players who are out of contract, can't we? I think the transfer window is only for transfers.
Can only sign free agents out of transfer window if they were a free agent while the transfer window was open. If they become a free agent after it closes you have to wait for the next. If Seba became a free agent prior to our window closing we could sign him today. Because he became a free agent after our window closed, we can't sign him today. (It's the rule in England for sure at least. I've always assumed it was a FIFA rule and applied worldwide, although I could be wrong, since there are some varying rules across countries)
