I get the sneaking suspicion Curtis talked out of turn when he texted Davidson to start all this discussion post game & since then its all just "uh, that's not what I heard" from various sources.


When it comes to the "sources", Manning is going to do a "hey, unless you are authorised, don't make our lives difficult - stop talking to the media" memo next week. This is unusual to see these leaks.

To the extent that’s true, still a problem of Curtis’s own design. If he confirms the interim coach before Monday, all is solved.

This likely wouldn’t be on the radar if there was better communication internally and externally. Regardless, I would expect Curtis to have to confirm at some point. The press here is soft, but not that soft.

I think he will be back playing soon. It would be better if we could move him and a few others like DeLeon, Bono, & Dwyer (wishful thinking) to free up some cash for some central defenders and maybe another forward if we could move all of the ones listed.

Not an unreasonable suggestion being down 1-0 with 20 minutes left. He wasn’t suggesting not to put Akinola on… he wanted two strikers. I think that is a good reason to ban a legend….Not.

Laugh or groan, as 'at a certain point', at this point, will most likely lead to him being traded to another team. So I mean, if that's what he wants, then fine. Maybe but he did exactly what he should have done and kept quiet during his exile. Now he has come out of it all looking really good while those who sanctioned his banishment look bad. He said all the right things today too.
