Ex Whitecaps, left when Whitecaps 2 folded and opted for college. I don't think they get any sort of homegrown on him though, especially since he was also on FC Edmonton's books.

Those kind of numbers as a junior, they'll be offering him a Generation Adidas contract, I imagine.

After seeing the All for One episodes this season, Armas and Curtis seem pretty chummy which makes me worry that the only way to get rid of Armas is to get rid of Curtis who happens to have just signed a contract extension

Spent 3 years in the Whitecaps academy (2014-16), then joined WC2 (2017) so probably can sign a homegrown deal with the Caps. I think it's just one year in the Academy that is needed. Jay Chapman I think was barely in the TFCA, but still qualified as a homegrown.

Okay Jozy is finished he’s not redeemable to me at this point. Move him on ASAP, eat salary I don’t care. Get our DP spot back.

I have tried 7 times to type in something and all I can really say is.....I'm done with this shit.

    ***

Like there is going to be a story about how & why & where & who & whether & everything else but I'm sitting here like the rest of us waiting for my second shot, waiting to get my hair cut, waiting to get back to BMO to watch a game, waiting to be able to go shopping, go have a beer somewhere and ..no matter who, how, why where & whether & everything else.....I'm just done with all this drama.

    Like, so done....

It was time to move on for both parties a year ago. This is the result of having a player who likely wants to leave and a club that probably also would rather use that DP spot on someone else.

I am sure Armas has his share of fault here, but Jozy has been his own worst enemy the past two years.

The team pressers were today so no comments will be forthcoming through anything but official channels.

I would expect a TFC statement of some sort before 2pm tomorrow.

    Post of the year.

I’m not terribly surprised. Somewhere, somehow, it always felt like this was in the cards. That’s why I thought it might be best to unload him in the off-season even if a financial penalty came with it. This is a distraction.

So how does this come to a conclusion outside of simply paying Jozy all his money and letting him walk? Because if they can not find a dance partner that is the only way this can end. Does Garber help them with this, maybe ...

Having said that, if anyone was going to call Armas out on something, it was always going to be Jozy.

My confidence in a reversal of fortune for our manager is waning. It ain't impossible, but this looks really bad. Vanney handled him for four years. The new guy hasn't been there but months, and spent two of those PRAISING Jozy's attitude.

It’s a pretty common MO for a new manager to go after a player. Hard to know whether it’s a real thing or Armas being the alpha dog.

If he’d taken more chances in his limited minutes, maybe someone would be desperate enough to take him on a free.

Posted in the wrong thread… but there has to be more to it.. why would you ever put Jozy at RB, only to humiliate him. Now you know why they signed Dwyer (backup)… as much as a pain as Jozy may or may not be … and it may be #jozyout but organizations should treat their greats with class. I am now an #armasout #aliout this may be the end of the TFC we/I love. Even if they can turn it around, this isn’t the way an organization like MLSE should behave.

What happened to All for One.

15 days ago, Jozy looked good off the bench vs CBus. He looked OK vs NYC but struggled against Orlando.

He's worth a salary amount to some teams outside of the league. Not at what he currently gets paid.

Pure spec - there are current suitors for Jozy for the July window. The team knows & is ok with this happening. But Jozy needs to show his worth to ensure he gets paid as much as possible. Armas taking him off ticks off Jozy because it reduces his value.

Feels like we’re becoming the old TFC. Lack of results on the pitch, but plenty of drama off it.

The only time I haven’t really liked a Jozy performance this season is when he basically played as a 10

Asked whether Altidore was indeed training apart from the first team due to a bust-up with Armas, GM Ali Curtis, in a text to The Canadian Press, replied: “Internal matter that we are keeping in-house
