Guy had his shot earlier this year & didn't take it. Fair enough. Wish him well.
At the point of praying for a centreback after watching that shitshow against Red Bulls. Hopefully Dorsey clears the way.
I’m not a doctor or Physio
But all these injuries this early on in the season -boggles my mind
The biggest thing is that OSO got injured Friday before training
From my playing/manager experience
Day before game training lasts 45 mins with no intensity-just a walk through of the game plan and some set pieces
Dom Dwyer lads

Dom Dwyer signed.

i think somebody is going bye bye in june/july,better not be mullinho
Would have preferred a CB.
Trying to remember what his technical passing ability was like - its been awhile. Would he better in a #10 role then DeLeon?
On another note, I think this is first out and out "pain in the ass so much that all opposing fans hate his guts by 50 minutes" dude we have signed since Johnson.

So, our two veteran strikers, Jozy and Dwyer, have a combined 1 goal since 2019. Awesome.
Of interest, the official MLS roster has Gallardo listed as being loaned out. https://www.mlssoccer.com/clubs/toronto-fc/roster/
Dwyer.
Disproportionate investment at the forward position.
Another injured dude.
Another injured dude at the forward position.
That’s literally all I think about this.
I don’t hate it. But I think it’s fair to ask whether these changes are making the team better or just different in order to play the way Armas wants. And stepping back... is that worth it?
What I think about the Dwyer signing, is that I think Jozy's departure is coming any second...
“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
Interestingly enough, Dorsey got released and Dwyer got signed the same day that Jozy got left off a 40 (forty!) man provisional USMNT roster. Quite the indictment considering the praise he got in January camp and the fact that it’s a freaking provisional roster for a month from now.
There’s no apparent reason why they would have waited to waive Dorsey and subsequently sign Dwyer. No one is taking Jozy on his current money and the only reason I could see for Jozy taking less money is because he believes he has to move to play in Qatar next year.
Read into that what you may.

I like Dwyer and always have, but it is clearly an odd signing. It’s also odd that Jozy is day to day from COVID vaccine reaction, and Oso and Poz day to day with the same injury. Could all be coincidence but I think Ensco’s instincts are right that something is going on.
Armas discussed Poz' injury yesterday & its not what Oso has. Something that the med staff can see & know can lead to problems if not fully healed but Poz can't tell is there & thinks is OK.
Jozy practiced with the team yesterday - him & Dwyer seen in the video they put out. No sight of Oso.
That's what I think too.
Still find it odd that he travelled with the team to Mexico, while sick from the Covid vax which wouldn't be recommended, to accompany the team with no intention to play. This guy has been injured enough to know he doesn't travel with the team when he is injured usually so it makes no sense to do it while sick during a pandemic.
Mullinho >> Dwyer.
