Despite the fact that he hasn't really taken the chances -- like Hamilton -- I actually like Fraser's skills. He's only played a few minutes this year but he had a killer pass. He's had a few really nice little passes over the last few years.
He always just seems a little lost, though, and the skill set does seem narrow, like a less-involved Sam Cronin. Maybe it's always coming in late in games, maybe it's communication. I don't know. The few interviews I've seen he's come across as sort of arrogant.
They'll probably do what a few here have suggested and turn him into a center half who can pass. With our luck he'll be the next Mark-Anthony Kaye, only marshalling a backline somewhere.
^ I was going to say, he seems just a bit too slow to survive at CM... maybe CB will be his role one day.
I think the kid has some skills but the roster is just loaded in his position and clearly Pirso (and arguably Okello, albeit in a slightly different spot) have jumped him in the pecking order.
Regardless of how people feel about Fraser (and I think some of the animus is because so many media people talk about him), somebody is coming in.
I just hope its not Dwyer when we have an obvious need for a better #3 defender.

I do as well, do we have an international spots left?
Curtis had talked about potentially loaning out Gallardo to get him playing time. Wonder if that's still on the table.

How long must I stay in Canada to keep my permanent resident status? To keep your permanent resident status, you must have been in Canada for at least 730 days during the last five years. These 730 days don't need to be continuous. Some of your time abroad may count towards the 730 days.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Fraser has needed this for a while tbh, so hopefully this works out. He's not going to displace Artur-Nagbe permanently but he should be at least a regular rotation player and has a path towards being Mensah's CB partner if they do decide to convert him to that position. He'll have some great options all over the pitch to pass to.
I think the best he's played for us was when he had that month-or-so-long run of games in the summer of 2019 and looked like one of our best players, so hopefully regular playing time, even if a lot of it is off the bench will help him
I wish him well. He was a good servant for us, never complained despite not getting the playing time his skill set seemed to deserve, and could be a very good presence for CAnada if he gets enough professional starts to build on what he showed against the USA. He was the player of the game that day, no question, so there is something there. Good luck in Columbus is all I say.
After Fraser, one of Marky or Oso will be next, likely Marky. Priso and OKello are ready for minutes and with MB, Poz, Oso and Jefe, they can afford to trade a starting midfielder for a mobile CB who can lead.
Related, but separately, they should be running plays for Omar every corner and free kick like they did for Hagglund against Montréal in 2016. “Don’t change the play”
Wow 50k of GAM coming our way for the loan of Fraser...pretty decent piece of business.
