Hey, wait, there are other games in CCL?

I love this competition so much
It is soooooooo....CONCACAF.
I think CCL is more fun to watch when you're a neutral.
When you're watching your own team play, it's more of a frustration than joy. Because, eventually your team will get CONCACAF'd and your blood pressure go up
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I root for the MLS teams. It is in our interest for MLS to succeed in this tournament.
Portland getting all the chances they want, but can't finish. And they defend like a CPL team. I'm only saying CPL team, because Marathon beat Forge FC in CONCACAF League to get to CCL

and a golazo by Valeri on that freekick, even if it hit the post and hit the keeper's back to go in.

some no name kid GK who is basically an emergency GK had to save Atlanta's ass many times, but this Atlanta team has the similar swagger during Martino days. though it's just one game

I don't know, they looked kinda old to me
a) Guzan continues his one gift of a chance a game in one way shape or form streak
b) their midfield was porous - it was like they had no DM - you shouldn't have people go through you at the top of the penalty area even if down 1 man (well really 2 because Martinez was useless defensively)
c) Josef Martinez is..tubby
That's a good result for them, but they got issues

When you begin to recognise the Central American stadiums...
So, this was not a red card. Only in CONCACAF

Watching both Atlanta and Portland games with home crowd noises, not the artificial broadcast noise... Yeah, we will also get that, soon I hope.
I miss being in the stands

Philly in Atlanta tonight available on Youtube
Atlanta peppering Philly and Blake making save after save
Philly gets an away goal
CONCACAF is going to CONCACAF even when its 2 MLS teams
Philly with a quick counter and a second goal!
How does Atlanta only have 9 American players out of their 25 player roster? I watch nearly every Atlanta game as I hope to watch them lose. Now down 2-0 !! The night is starting off aces!!
Jurgen Damn is a faster trickier Shafellburg with somehow less end product. He will dribble to the penalty spot then loop a cross to no one
Philly with the third goal! Wow
Philly sucks at CONCACAF dark arts. Funny watching them try though

Watching Columbus go down a goal vs Monterrey at home, but now coming back with 2 goals.
Oh well
edit: 2nd goal chalked off for offside by VAR

Philly into the semis, deservedly thumping an Atlanta that doesn't know who they are yet under Heinze.
Possibly the only MLS team in the semis as the other 3 all have hills to climb.
