I leaning towards May at the earliest, likely even later. Really do not see them starting without a significant number of fans in the stands, which they need for overall revenue and engagement. The NFL and NBA are in the own world, the NHL only did it after reaching an agreement with the players on concessions. Baseball is having doubts on playing without buts in the seats, could really see anther short season if they do not.

Ugggh, I just hope this doesn’t derail Canada’s World Cup qualifiers. That would cause me to carry a certain level of resentment.

Giovinco to LA Galaxy seems to be picking up steam

When I hear this I can’t help but wonder if Vanney wanted Seba back but Manning/Curtis wouldn’t pay. Could have been an early crack in the relationship between Vanney and the FO.

I kinda doubt the West plays the East this year, so I'm OK with this on a competitive basis. The guy left for more money, and wouldn't come back for less then Poz' salary. If he gets less out of LA and works out there, I'm OK with this. He is a man who works for his family and if this is what it takes to make more near the end of his career and make them happy, so be it.

i.e. This isn't Osorio playing for the Impact level

Sounds more like the LA Galaxy way- an aged high profile player that might not fit the need of the team.
That's all I'll say about that.

This is the caliber of DP I expect from our front office. Would be crazy if VAN pulled this off. Those are low numbers as well.

This plus Vanney prefers players he trusts and is familiar with. That's why new players always had to work their way into the line up and also why he never used young players, no matter who injured or exhausted his preferred 14 were. I expect LA to make some plays for at least a few of our players and would be shocked if they don't have Zavaleta on their roster by the start of pre-season.

You're probably right about that one.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

$20 million option to buy (OC would retain 20% on a future sale). Barnsley's record transfer is 1.5 million pounds (~2.5million). Yep, he's coming back to Orlando after

They're doing a fairly safe gamble that Dike tears it up and they can pre-arrange a decent sale before the buy clause closeout. Quick flip and make a million or so after the 20% to Orlando. If not then he goes back. Happens sometimes but it's unlikely.
